If you take the time to explore the open world, you'll be rewarded with powerful treasure cars or discounted aftermarket cars, some of which contain Forza-exclusive modifications that can't be replicated in your garage.

Exploring Japan

Japan is filled with hundreds of collectible items and cars scattered across the open world. From the streets of Tokyo to the snowy mountains, keep an eye out for these points of interest on your map.

Treasure Cars: Unique vehicles that must be found in the open world. There are nine in total.
Aftermarket Cars: Modified vehicles that are sold for a discount. These aren't marked on your map until they're close by, so keep your eyes peeled.
- Some aftermarket cars are Forza variants, featuring modifications that aren't replicable in the garage.
Wristband Events: These are how you unlock new events in the open world. Complete races and events to unlock access to these challenging tracks.
Events: These include all world activities, most of which are races. Horizon 6 introduces Touge battles into the mix, one-on-one races across Japan's windy, mountainous roads.
- Notable races include street, rally, cross country, and dirt.
- Notable world activities include speed traps, time trials, car meets, and danger zones.
