All League Classic Icon Codes & How To Redeem

After years of speculation, League Classic is finally out, enabling veterans and newer players alike to experience what League of Legends was like from 2009-2012. On the old-school version of Summoner's Rift, players can buy and equip original items, build nostalgic rune and mastery pages, and, of course, pilot 60 League Classic champions as they were originally designed, with more to be released in future patches.

To celebrate this throwback for the world's biggest MOBA, Riot Games is giving away icons for free that depict the original art of some of the oldest champions in the game.

All icon codes are only available for a short amount of time, so make sure to redeem them ASAP!

How To Redeem League Classic Icons & All Codes

To redeem the free icons, simply head to shop.riotgames.com/en-us/redeem/ and sign into your Riot account. Then redeem the following codes:

Morgana Classic Champion Icon

Code: CC-CLASS-MORGA-T0123

Nunu Classic Champion Icon

Code: CC-CLASS-NUNUX-T0123

Warwick Classic Champion Icon

Code: CC-CLASS-WARWI-T0123

After putting a code in and pressing Enter, you'll be taken to another screen where you need to click 'Redeem Code'.

These icons should then be available in the League client, and players can equip them by going to their collection. Unlike some other cosmetics that are locked to League Classic, profile icons are visible across the client and in any game mode.

The website does state that it can take up to 24 hours for the icons to arrive in their account, but it should be instant for most users.

Redeeming From The Client

It's also possible to redeem these codes directly from the League of Legends Client. Click the plus icon next to your RP in the top right corner. Then, in the window that opens, select the bottom option 'Prepaid Cards & Codes'.

You should now be able to enter the code and redeem your free icons; just make sure to accept the terms at the bottom of the window.

What Other League Classic Cosmetics Can You Get?

While free icons are nice, especially for fans of the three champions, players will be more interested in what other unique cosmetics are available in League Classic.

Skins

All champions in League Classic have a classic base skin by default, and only a select handful of skins can be used in the mode. The classic base skin cannot be used in normal League games, but there are a few new options in the store.

The best of all is Baron Rammus, a variation of King Rammus, an incredibly rare skin from the early days of the MOBA. This skin can be used in both classic and normal modes, but doesn't truly compare with the best skins in League​​​​​.

Portraits

Portraits are a new cosmetic and unique to League Classic, meaning they will not be visible in normal games of League. Many of these are funny drawings of popular champions. These portraits can be seen during the loading screen before Classic games.

Some portraits can also be picked up for free on the Classic Pass by playing games of League Classic and spending the coins earned.

Other Classic Icons

Other League Classic icons can be earned on the Classic Pass, along with rune pages, the opportunity to vote on upcoming changes, and more.
