Visions of Home and Self
Vanished. Haunted. Stranded.
Discover who you were and find your way out of this industrial maze.
Fullscreen recommended.
This game was made solo over around 5 days for the Summer Horror Jam 2026, to the theme of VHS.
There seems to be a small issue with the video player in browser. If the game stops for a while at any point, it is most likely a cutscene stuck loading. Restarting the page has solved the issue permanently in testing, so it's likely a cache issue.
If you are lost, both in the game or real life, stop. Take a moment to try identifying what is helping and what is hindering. You are always facing a number of small challenges that, when fulfilled sufficiently, will move you closer to your goal. Determine the specific circumstances that provide new information, and repeat them until you can find your way.
SPOILERS: How to remember your spot
Unique objects within the game, such as the signs and trolley bays, have specific rules. You must successfully follow these rules 6 times to remember your parking spot, and will lose if you fail to follow them 10 times. However, failing just a few times could help you out. Play around with each of these unique objects and try to determine what the rules are for each, or figure out one and then find 5 more of that object.SPOILERS: How to find your spot
Letters increase as you enter deeper into the parking lot, and numbers change as you move laterally. However, you may find that the letters or numbers you are looking for are absent. If the letters are feeling repetitive, try returning to the place you entered the parking lot from, to gather your bearings. Red parking lights traditionally mean that spot is taken. Walking under 6 of these, thus turning them green, will reveal a unique row, which will contain a lost number.| Updated | 24 days ago |

Woah! The FMV and transition to gameplay was so cool and smooth! and the voice over made it so AAA, well done and I gotta finish this off stream and FIND MY CAR!!!
Thanks so much for the video! Was exciting to watch someone else play, I've been doing HTML for accessibility, but should I include a download version too?
I definitely made one aspect of the puzzles a bit too tricky, though you were very close to actually finding the end. The end footage is dashcam of a real crash that I found online, nobody was badly injured thankfully, despite how gnarly it looked.
Thanks again for playing, and yes I'm Australian haha.
nice story
Thanks so much for the video! It's interesting to see how other people approach the game, and there's definitely a few things I'd change in hindsight to make the start less obtuse!
This was pretty cool; the voiceover added a lot of immersion!
Thanks! I had a lot of fun with a friend of mine recording them all
I thought this was pretty neat! Loved the liminal eeriness and spooky setting.
