If anyone is curious, the real issue with Gamepass is actually that there literally aren't any waves of new subscribers. They've hit a pretty solid cap on their ecosystem, and it'll continue to devalue games, hurt actual sales numbers of Xbox Exclusives, and it'll hurt Xbox.

Biggest thing Nintendo is lying to us about is that they keep saying key cards are intentionally for "deeper and larger" games, like this interview from yesterday. However, most game key cards are games under 24GB. They're purposefully misleading us IMO #NintendoSwitch2

If Nintendo truly cares about “variable pricing,” then they will simultaneously release games at around the $40-$50 range. The idea of smart pricing games is fantastic. HD2 at $40 is beautiful, and I’d pay $70 for totk or Bananza, but here’s the catch: Nintendo doesn’t care.

Doug Bowser on Switch 2 game prices: “What you see right there is variable pricing. We’ll look at each game, really look at the development that’s gone into the game, the breadth and depth of the gameplay, if you will, the durability over time and the repeatability of gameplay

Peak direct. Went from “maybe I’ll get one a year or two after launch” To “Fuuuuuck might as well get one asap”
