Oh, they were so nice, the dance coaches. You know, Dolly was petite and always wore really high heels, and it wasn’t easy to dance in them. I asked her if she wore them back home, and if Carl liked that. She causally said that she always did the dishes back home, and so needed

My friends were dance coaches for that movie and shared fond memories of Dolly and you. So sorry for the loss of your friend and a national treasure.

That song, A TINKER’S TALE, is maybe the best I ever wrote. It holds a place in my heart.

This is America  Hated by small men  Sure of it all  Loved by the heroes  So quiet and tall  Feel the breeze of her freedom  Like an oak in the swale  Find your name written  In the strength of her story  Told by the campfire  Of the old Tinker’s Tale -James Woods
