- The Pokémon Company explicitly wants to encourage people to buy both versions of Pokémon games.
- They have been wanting to increase the price of Pokémon games from the old $60 price since Sword/Shield, but wasn't possible back then due to higher prices not being standarized yet in North America.
From first 15 weeks of sales:
- 41% of players bought both versions of Sun/Moon.
- 50% of players bought both versions of Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon.
- 23% of players bought both versions of LGPE.

Greedy as always. They should primarily focus on releasing decent games by today's standards before thinking about raising the prices.
