Stichting OPEN is, namens alle producenten en importeurs in Nederland, verantwoordelijk voor de inzameling en recycling van afgedankte apparaten, lampen, batterijen – inclusief (fiets)accu’s en zonnepanelen. We zetten ons in voor een circulaire afdankketen waarin deze producten niet eindigen als afval, maar als waardevolle bron voor hergebruik.

Through its Wecycle brand, Stichting OPEN encourages consumers and businesses to always dispose of discarded appliances, lamps and batteries safely, so they can be given a second life as a product, component or raw material. You’ll find Wecycle in education, public information, campaigns and drop-off points for consumers and businesses.

Do you put appliances, lamps and/or batteries on the market? Look at your legal producer responsibility

Register with Stichting OPEN and report annually on the products you bring to the Dutch market. You pay a Waste Management Contribution for this, which is used for the collection, sorting and processing of the discarded products. Want to know how? Click on the arrows.
