Monique (Nikki) Bhargava recently presented to the Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU) AI Working Group. The CARU AI Working Group is a small group of representatives made up of a strong network of proactive, industry-leading companies in the children’s space. The group convenes to discuss the risks and challenges that generative AI poses to children and teens, including issues such as misleading or deceptive advertising that uses AI and AI tools that collect personal information from children. Nikki spoke on trends in AI developments impacting advertising and marketing to children and teens and what advertisers need to be looking out for.
