Don’t sleep on this customer story. When fragmented legacy systems slowed service and scattered guest data, Caledonian Sleeper set out to get its guest experience back on track. With Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact Center, Customer Service, Customer Insights, and Power Platform, the company brought guest interactions and operational data into one connected platform—while automating the manual work that slowed teams down. The result: a 360-degree view of every guest, faster and more consistent case resolution, better operational visibility, and higher guest satisfaction. All aboard! Five hours. That's how long your top rep spends entering data into the CRM every single week (on the low end). Not selling. Not building relationships. Not closing deals. Entering fields. Think about what that actually costs. If you're paying a rep $500K a year fully loaded — salary, commissions, benefits, equity — you're paying them roughly $240 an hour. Five hours a week times 52 weeks. That's over $60,000 a year. To enter fields into a database. I said what I said. And here's the part that should really bother y'all. It's not just the money. It's what doesn't happen because of those five hours. That rep isn't researching the next account. Isn't building the relationship with the economic buyer. Isn't calling the prospect who went cold. They're clicking dropdown menus and typing notes they already said out loud on the call. The CRM was supposed to be the system that made reps more effective. Somewhere along the way it became the thing they work for instead of the thing that works for them. That's backwards. When I was going through what Microsoft built inside Dynamics 365, the piece that stopped me cold was the Data Enrichment Agent. It listens to your calls. Reads your emails. Pulls from third-party data sources. And updates the CRM automatically. No manual entry. No "hey can you make sure you fill that out before the weekend." No chasing reps to log what happened. The system updates itself. Because it actually heard what happened. And here's what clicked for me: better data doesn't just mean cleaner records. Better data means every other agent in the system — the ones doing account research, generating next-best actions, flagging at-risk deals — gets smarter too. The data enrichment is the foundation. And when that foundation is solid, everything built on top of it works better. Your rep is too expensive to be a data entry clerk. And your CRM is too important to depend on one. https://lnkd.in/gSpYt4Ak PS: This is a paid partnership with Microsoft. #MicrosoftPartner #AgenticCX #Sponsored Microsoft Dynamics 365
