It's a special day today & not just because I turn the Big 5-5. Today we announce the launch of the Charity Action Network (CAN), a new nonprofit I have wanted to build, coincidentally, for the last 5.5 years. Our mission is to solve big problems globally by helping nonprofits, individuals, and companies give more easily and more Time and Treasure in three ways: - Our Consulting practice (available now helping great clients like DetecTogether) - Our Giving Exchange (available 1Q27) - Our Charity Co-Op (available 2Q27) The RFP to build the Giving Exchange will be sent to >40 Tech firms Aug. 20-21 with a goal to accelerate the donations of Money, Time, and Stuff (including Ad Inventory) the same way Ad Exchanges accelerated the sale of digital ads over the past 15 years. Leveraging many of the successes we've had at Prohaska Consulting helping 650+ clients with 500+ teammates over the past 12+ years, we at CAN will be showing how #Data & #Tech can be used for good. I am incredibly proud and grateful to be leading both organizations going forward. A huge thank you to our entire CAN team, especially the #Marketing & #Operations launch teams of Sara Au, Amy DeHaen, Cameron Barrett, Lindsay Jennings, & Felicia Hand.
