I wish AI model benchmarks were as easy to understand as an IQ score, just like they were described in this clip. AI models are improving so quickly that most of us can barely keep up with the latest releases and understand the differences between them. At this pace, staying current with every new model almost feels like A FULL-TIME JOB! Yet something doesn't add up. AI models keep getting better, but AI localization workflows aren't getting proportionally easier. That made us question an assumption early in the development of Gridly Localization Agent: would giving localization professionals more AI model choices actually create a better localization experience? At first, it sounded reasonable. More options should mean more flexibility. But the conversations we had with localization teams pointed us in a different direction. Very few people told us they struggled because they had chosen the wrong model. Instead, they described workflows where: - project knowledge was scattered across multiple systems - context had to be assembled manually - language-specific rules were difficult to maintain - every large batch required another round of setup and validation. Those operational challenges existed regardless of which LLM they selected. The best AI model doesn't automatically create the best localization workflow. Rather than centering the experience around model selection, Gridly Localization Agent: - assembles project-specific context - generates workflow instructions in plain language - enables teams to validate behavior before scaling - keeps every instruction visible and adjustable throughout the workflow. What if the biggest bottleneck in AI localization isn’t the model, but the workflow around it? And what if success is not about choosing the best model, but about enabling every model to perform at its best? #AI #Localization

One sentence I hear all the time is: "AI translates now, so localization is basically solved." After spending two decades working with global enterprises, I'd argue the opposite. AI didn't eliminate localization. It multiplied it. A few years ago, creating content was expensive. Marketing teams produced a handful of campaigns. Product teams released documentation a few times a year. Training content was carefully prioritized. Today? Every team can generate content in minutes. One campaign becomes twenty. One product launch becomes fifty localized experiences. Internal sales, support, marketing, learning, video, websites—everything moves faster. That's incredible. But it also creates a new challenge. The bottleneck is no longer generating content. It's deploying it globally without sacrificing quality. Every asset still needs the right terminology. The right cultural context. The right approvals. The right brand voice. Because your customer doesn't care that AI generated it. They only see whether it feels like it was written for them. That's why I believe the next competitive advantage isn't better AI generation. It's better AI execution. The organizations that build a repeatable global deployment engine—one that combines automation, governance, context, and quality—will expand into new markets dramatically faster than everyone else. Generation got cheaper. Execution became the differentiator. #AI #GlobalGrowth #EnterpriseAI #Localization #Marketing #InternationalExpansion

AI translation is everywhere. What’s changing now is how organizations manage it. Many teams still treat translation as a task. But as AI scales, the real challenge shows up after the content is generated, in quality, consistency, and accountability. This article explores why most breakdowns happen post‑translation and what it takes to build a structured, governed localization system. ✔️ Why “translate and review” no longer scales ✔️ Where quality and compliance issues actually begin ✔️ How Human‑in‑the‑Loop workflows create control ✔️ What a repeatable localization system looks like ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04tJQcP0 #TheLanguagePeople #AITranslation #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalContent

Your company just banned AI for translation. 🚫 Cool! Meanwhile, your colleagues are using some free tools right now, pasting in content to get a quick translation. But you know already what happens when you ban a tool instead of governing it, right? ❗ Sensitive data ends up in tools that have zero data protection ❗ Terminology and brand guidelines disappear ❗ Inconsistency show everywhere Banning doesn't remove the behavior. The real fix is proving your colleagues that a governed, reliable, fast AI system beats the free tool they're using. That should be a top priority for every localization manager in companies working across markets in 2026. This is why at Creative Words, we train teams, and help our client implement AI systems that do their job, in a safe way. We do this by going deep into your processes, talking to your stakeholders directly, and helping you figure out where AI belongs, and where it doesn't. The goal is give localization the company-wide value it deserves. If you feel this is worth a conversation, let's talk. 👇

We talk a lot about how AI can make localization faster. And it can. But I think we sometimes overlook something important: AI doesn’t work in isolation. If the workflow around it is fragmented, adding AI doesn’t necessarily make the operation easier. Sometimes it makes it more complicated. Imagine a localization process spread across multiple vendors, tools, markets and teams. AI is introduced to automate project intake and route work to the right resources. But the information it needs sits across different systems, vendors follow different processes, and someone still has to connect the pieces, clarify exceptions and make sure the next person has what they need. The AI is doing its job. The workflow is still the problem. And that affects more than just technology. Project managers spend time coordinating instead of managing. Vendor managers spend time resolving issues that shouldn’t exist. Linguists receive incomplete or inconsistent information. Everyone gets another layer to work around. But this time we are spending on AI too. This is why I don’t think the next step in localization is simply adding more AI. The bigger opportunity is creating workflows where people, technology, vendors and language resources actually work as one. Because automation should remove work. It shouldn’t just make a fragmented process faster. Are we actually reducing the workload with AI, or are we just accelerating individual parts of a complicated workflow?

One of the biggest misconceptions about AI is that it's here to replace people. The biggest value I've seen is the opposite: AI amplifies people. It removes repetitive work, shortens delivery time, and lets specialists focus on the decisions that actually require human expertise. I recently wrapped up a project where I designed and implemented an AI-powered localization workflow for a live product, translating content into 11 languages using Claude Code, n8n, and LLMs. The results: ✔️ End-to-end automation of the localization process. ✔️ Human involvement reduced to quality review instead of manual processing. ✔️ Significantly faster turnaround from content creation to localized delivery. ✔️ Consistent terminology across all supported languages through an evolving AI-powered glossary. ✔️ A scalable workflow capable of handling increasing content volumes without increasing operational effort. Instead of replacing the localization team, the solution removed repetitive tasks and allowed people to focus on what they do best: ensuring quality, context, and user experience. Projects like this are one of the reasons I've decided to begin my doctoral research in AI-driven business process automation. I'm convinced the real transformation won't come from using AI for individual tasks, but from redesigning entire business processes around human-AI collaboration. #AI #Automation #BusinessProcessAutomation #ClaudeCode #n8n #GameDev #MobileGames #GamingIndustry #GameLocalization #GameOperations #LiveOps #Operations #DigitalTransformation

AI translation can deliver real ROI. The difference comes from how it’s implemented. Many teams adopt AI for speed, but without structure, scaling becomes inconsistent and harder to manage over time. This article brings together the key elements that make AI translation work as part of a reliable localization system. ✔️ Clear content preparation ✔️ Defined quality standards ✔️ Human review where it matters ✔️ Terminology control and governance ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04sQVHd0 #TheLanguagePeople #AITranslation #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalContent
