AI translation is fast. But speed alone does not create accountability. When content touches compliance, patient safety, legal accuracy, or public trust, the way translation is reviewed, validated, and documented becomes critical. This article breaks down what ISO 18587 actually requires and how it fits into an AI‑driven localization strategy. ✔️ What ISO 18587 governs in MTPE workflows ✔️ How it differs from ISO 17100 and ISO 9001 ✔️ Why regulated industries rely on structured post‑editing ✔️ When ISO‑aligned workflows become essential ✔️ How to evaluate an MTPE provider for accountability ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04vHgfQ0 #TheLanguagePeople #AITranslation #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalContent

Localization is getting more complex, not less. As organizations scale across industries and markets, the challenge is no longer just translating content. It is maintaining consistency, accuracy, and relevance across very different use cases, from HR and training to healthcare, manufacturing, and software. This article highlights how Interpro approaches localization across these environments. It shows what it takes to support different content types, how to integrate subject matter expertise, and how to apply structured processes that hold up over time. If you are managing multilingual content across teams or regions, this is a look at how a more consultative, system-driven approach can help create stability as you grow. ➡️ Explore the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04tJTv00 #TheLanguagePeople #LocalizationStrategy #GlobalContent #HumanInTheLoop #Translation

If you’re exploring AI translation, the real question is how to make it work in a way that’s reliable, repeatable, and accountable. Many teams start with AI translation and figure out the rest later. That is usually when issues appear. Consistency gaps, unclear ownership, and added risk in review and approval. This article walks through what Human‑in‑the‑Loop localization looks like in practice and why it has become the structure behind responsible AI workflows. ✔️ Why AI alone introduces risk at scale ✔️ How preparation and review shape quality ✔️ What a repeatable localization system looks like ✔️ Where Human‑in‑the‑Loop fits in regulated environments ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04tJF2K0 #TheLanguagePeople #AITranslation #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalContent

AI translation is moving fast, but the real decision isn’t just AI vs. human anymore. As content scales across teams and markets, most organizations start to feel the gaps. Not in translation output, but in consistency, control, and how everything connects over time. This article breaks down how AI, human translation, and hybrid workflows actually fit together, and why the strongest approach is building a localization system that supports all three. If you’re thinking about long‑term scalability, this is less about the tools and more about how you structure the work behind them. ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04tJJvk0 #TheLanguagePeople #AITranslation #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalContent

AI translation tools are easier than ever to access. The real question is when you need structure behind them. Not every workflow requires ISO 18587. But when translation impacts compliance, safety, or regulatory outcomes, how that content is reviewed and documented becomes critical. This article explores what ISO 18587 actually guarantees, why it matters in higher‑risk environments, and how to determine when governed MTPE workflows are necessary versus when more flexible approaches can still work. If you’re evaluating AI in your localization strategy, it helps clarify where governance adds real value. ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04tJQJT0 #TheLanguagePeople #AITranslation #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalContent

⏰ **obligatory post-conference post alert** ⚠️ ..IT WAS a great week at the ASAE Annual Meeting! Dean Haman and I had the opportunity to connect with clients, partners, and friends across the association community. I look forward to this show every year. I enjoyed presenting with Kara Adams, CAE of DelCor Technology Solutions on translating eLearning content. I brought the language side, Kara brought the eLearning and LMS product strategy component. It was great to be on the presenter's side of the room. I am grateful that ASAE selected our topic. One key takeaway: Translation is a language exercise. Localization is a learner experience strategy. Another common challenge we discussed was to not treat localization as an afterthought. We have seen success when organizations build it into their content strategy from the beginning, rather than trying to retrofit it later. As associations expand their 🌎 reach, making content accessible and culturally appropriate is an essential business need, not just a nice-to-have. Yes, there are AI translation use cases too. Thanks to everyone who joined the conversation and shared their experiences!! What was your favorite part of ASAE Annual? #asae26 #Interpro #TheLanguagePeople #Localization #LocalizationStrategy #GlobalContent

AI translation is everywhere. What’s changing now is how organizations manage it. Many teams still treat translation as a task. But as AI scales, the real challenge shows up after the content is generated, in quality, consistency, and accountability. This article explores why most breakdowns happen post‑translation and what it takes to build a structured, governed localization system. ✔️ Why “translate and review” no longer scales ✔️ Where quality and compliance issues actually begin ✔️ How Human‑in‑the‑Loop workflows create control ✔️ What a repeatable localization system looks like ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04tJQcP0 #TheLanguagePeople #AITranslation #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalContent

Most teams only see the final video. Not the process behind it. In regulated environments, video localization is not just translation. It’s a layered workflow that touches risk assessment, terminology control, engineering, and compliance review. This article pulls back the curtain on what that process actually looks like, and where things tend to break down if structure is missing. If you’re responsible for quality, risk, or audit readiness, understanding the full workflow changes how you approach localization. ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04sQflY0 #TheLanguagePeople #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalCommunications #AITranslation

Energizing day today in the Boston Seaport for Tipclub, Inc's monthly meeting. Reconnecting with colleagues and meeting new professionals has been rewarding in many ways whether its learning a new service, product, platform, or learning solution, you'll always leave the event with a new idea or interest. Repping Interpro Translation Solutions in the city of Boston has been AWESOME. If you know me personally, I may trash talk the city every once in a while but I think that just comes with the territory of being a local. However, twice a month I'm in the downtown area and on days like this, I'll go toe to toe with any city in the country on the beauty, the grit, the landscape, and the people that make Boston, Boston. And Patrick Pittsford, LOOK, SHIPS! #InterproTranslation #TipClub #Translation #PatrickLovesShips

Healthcare video localization can look accurate and still miss what matters most. In regulated environments, small changes in terminology, tone, or phrasing can shift meaning in ways that affect compliance, patient safety, and how information is interpreted. This article explores where those breakdowns happen in real workflows, and why structured Human‑in‑the‑Loop review is essential for maintaining consistency and control across markets. ➡️ Read the full perspective: https://hubs.li/Q04sRfj90 #TheLanguagePeople #LocalizationStrategy #HumanInTheLoop #GlobalCommunications #AITranslation
