Job Title: Software Engineering Leader

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite 4 days)

Type: Full-Time

Overview

Lead a team building and maintaining a cloud-based platform connected to external systems. Own overall delivery, technical direction, and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an engineering team
• Set technical direction and system design
• Oversee development across backend and frontend
• Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure systems
• Partner with product and other teams to deliver features
• Manage timelines, priorities, and overall delivery
• Improve processes, system performance, and team output

Requirements

• 10+ years in software development, including leadership experience
• Node.js, Express (or similar frameworks), React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• RESTful and GraphQL APIs, state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design.
• Experience with IoT platforms, device lifecycle management, real-time telemetry, and edge computing architectures.
• Extensive experience with Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, and IoT services.
• Experience leading teams and delivering projects
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
