Base pay range
$97,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Summary: The Business Analyst - Pricing Team will serve as the business interpreter between pricing/commercial teams and data engineering, ensuring that pricing models, model maintenance, analytics, and reporting make correct and effective use of enterprise data. This role will focus on how information is used, and will collect requirements and designs, tests, and validate pricing models, analytics, and reporting so data engineering is able to focus on formalization and scalable production systems.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

Understand and interpret business activities, including commercial nuances, pricing behaviors, and data meaning
Translate identified nuances into updates to pricing models, analytics, and reporting logic
Design and maintain pricing models, assumptions, and experimentation frameworks
Define business requirements for dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics
Validate standardized reports and models correctly reflect business reality as new acquisitions are integrated
Partner Data Warehouse and ERP Infrastructure teams to formalize data ingestion and automation requirements
Produce clear functional specifications for data engineering team to implement
Create test scenarios, prototypes, and proof-of concept models, including limited manual data manipulation or loading in non-production environments, to validate concepts before formal engineering implementation
Analyze pricing and cost historical data to identify patterns, trends, cohorts of products and customers, and provide business performance perspective to the management team
Project Manage both pricing and commercial request lists that are open and in progress with Data Engineering/Infrastructure IT teams

Educationand/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or 5-years’ experience as a Business Analyst
Experience with system integrations, data mapping, or interface coordination
Experience with major ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, QAD, Infor, or similar)
Experience with Snowflake, data lakes, and raw unstructured data for research and experimentation
SQL, Python, and other experience for data analysis, validation, or troubleshooting
Familiarity with building and understanding Pricing models constructed from historical and future inputs
Strong skillset in documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication
