Today we announced the nationwide expansion of Magic Apron's in-store capabilities. Customers and associates can now access guidance tailored to their local store, ask questions using text, voice-to-text or images, and quickly find products using real-time aisle and bay information. Behind this experience is the work of associates across engineering, infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, UX, product, and operations. One of the most rewarding parts of our careers is building intuitive experiences that directly help our customers and associates, and Magic Apron is a great example. In the wake of recent severe weather across the Midwest, we’ve teamed up with Operation Blessing to deliver 600 disaster relief kits loaded with essential cleanup and recovery supplies to the communities where our associates and customers live and work. Local stores are coordinating with fire departments, emergency management and community agencies to get the free kits directly into the hands of those who need them most to help local families begin rebuilding.

Last week, we had 100 associate #TeamDepot volunteers come together to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of America through a project at a Club in Southern California. This team worked to provide some major upgrades to their clubhouse, soccer pitch and outdoor areas. Their efforts helped create welcoming spaces that support connection and growth for local youth. AND a $250,000 donation from The Home Depot is expanding the impact, supporting youth programs across Greater LA. This company is such a special place.
