Rutledge Daugette reposted thisRutledge Daugette reposted this*Quick ask* I’m looking for someone who can help New Shoe Day design a simple, scalable inventory and logistics operation. That includes warehouse setup, inventory tracking, and choosing the right technology. What we're looking to solve: How do we seamlessly connect the need coming in from across the state with the inventory we hold and the shoes coming in from our suppliers? Right now, we’ve got great energy and good help from my oldest (see photo)… but we thought we'd include others in on the fun. This is a rare chance to build something new and meaningful that will directly impact thousands of kids facing the barrier of #shoeinsecurity. If you’ve done this before and want to lend your expertise, don't hesitate and shoot me DM!

These stats are wonderful to see!Rutledge Daugette shared thisMaking an Impact is what we do at GadellNet. From supporting mission-driven organizations, to shopping at B Corps and volunteering at local nonprofit organizations, we live out this core value daily. While we're already full steam ahead on our community impact work for 2026, we want to highlight some stats from last year. Here's how our actions stacked up in 2025. We are honored to support so many nonprofits, schools, B Corps, and local minority and women-owned businesses across the Midwest. We are grateful to the folks at these organizations who execute this important work, and to our team members who commit their time and dollars to making a difference. We don't plan on slowing down our support anytime soon! 💙

Stay sharp. 🎯 Threat actors love the year-end urgency created by bonuses, benefit changes, policy changes, and more. In addition, it's the Season of Giving, and donation scams increase. Our Cybersecurity Team recommends the following steps to help keep you and your organization protected through the holiday season and beyond. ☑️Think before you click: Verify suspicious requests via known channels (don't use the phone number on the suspicious email). ☑️Report fast: Send suspicious emails/requests to your IT/security team for review. ☑️Trust your instincts: People are the first line of defense in an increasingly automated threat landscape. It was an intense and inspiring few days filled with insightful sessions, meaningful conversations, and new connections. From discussions around AI and modern architectures to real-world case studies and accessibility — the breadth of topics really reflects where the industry is heading. For me, the most valuable part was the people: – reconnecting with colleagues and partners – meeting new professionals from across the ecosystem – exchanging ideas and practical experiences What stands out every time is the strength of the Drupal community. It’s not just about technology — it’s about collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a shared commitment to building better digital experiences. Also, it’s clear that topics like AI, automation, and platform evolution are no longer “future trends” — they are already shaping how we build today. Rutledge Daugette liked thisProud of the EnviroForensics team for bringing another complex dry cleaner site to successful regulatory closure. This project in Brazil, Indiana, involved historic fill materials, contaminant migration through aging infrastructure, off-site impacts, and vapor intrusion concerns affecting neighboring properties. Through a phased remediation approach and close coordination with IDEM and property owners, the team successfully achieved a Certificate of Completion and Covenant Not-To-Sue. Even more rewarding, the property has since been sold and incorporated into the operations of a neighboring restaurant, ensuring it remains a productive part of the community. EnviroForensics has closed more chlorinated solvent sites than any other consultant, and projects like this demonstrate the depth of experience our team brings to these complex challenges. Stop searching “IT companies near me.” In Missouri, proximity helps—but partnership matters more. Whether you’re in manufacturing, healthcare, or professional services, the right MSP doesn’t just fix tickets; they protect uptime, compliance, and your team’s focus. When you vet providers, skip the buzzwords and ask: • How fast do you actually resolve incidents? • How do you handle onboarding without disrupting production? • What controls are in place for change management and security? Push for clarity: • Real SLA targets and escalation paths • Security posture aligned to CMMC, HIPAA, or your industry baseline • A documented cutover plan—with dates, names, and rollback steps Do this week: call two references and ask, “Tell me about your last major outage—how did your provider respond?” If you want a simple way to benchmark your current IT partner, I can share our 10-question Missouri MSP Scorecard—built from what actually works here. #MissouriBusiness #ManagedIT #Cybersecurity #Manufacturing #Healthcare #StLouis

CMS 2027 MSSP Timeline Is Out — Here’s What It Actually Means for Providers CMS has officially released the 2027 MSSP application timeline, and while many organizations have been “recruiting” for months, the real decision window is now defined—and far more restrictive than most providers realize. Let’s simplify what matters most: Key Dates That Drive Your Decision June 9 – June 23: Phase 1 Application Window Opens & Closes August 5: Final date to ADD participants to an ACO September 8: Final date to REMOVE or CHANGE participation (resolve overlaps) October–December: Final submissions, corrections, and agreements executed The Most Misunderstood Deadline: August 5 By early August, your flexibility is largely gone. After this date: You cannot join a different ACO You cannot be newly added to an ACO Your alignment for 2027 is effectively locked Between August 5 and September 8, the only remaining activity is: Removing participants Resolving overlaps between ACOs Translation: If you haven’t made a confident, informed decision before August, you are no longer choosing strategically—you are reacting within constraints. Why This Matters More Than Ever In a highly competitive recruiting season, many ACOs will present: Upfront incentives New tech integrations “Enhanced” distribution models But what often goes unaddressed is: Structural dilution Misaligned incentives Increased operational burden with little return Choosing the wrong ACO doesn’t just impact revenue—it impacts: Your patient outcomes Your staff workload Your long-term practice strategy If you are evaluating MSSP or considering a change for 2027, now is the time to get clear—before your options narrow. At American Choice Healthcare, we will walk you through: What the CMS timeline means specifically for your practice How to evaluate true ACO performance vs. marketing Where you may be at risk for dilution—and how to avoid it Make a decision with clarity—not pressure. Reach out directly to schedule a conversation.

Yesterday at The ChannelPro Network LIVE Columbus, there was one thing I kept hearing from other MSP owners: 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒖𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍. Every vendor promises better protection, fewer alerts, and higher margins. But the real challenge isn’t choosing tools. It’s building a stack your team can actually operate well while delivering real security value to clients. If you're in this channel, I'm curious, what are you seeing?

I just saw a MSP charge $5k for a Copilot pilot. No implementation, no training, no ROI measurement. They're betting the client will see "AI" and pay. That works once. That client will churn in 8 months asking "what exactly did I get from this?" CTA: How are you structuring Copilot engagements? What does flat-rate IT support really cost your business? The common "per-user" price is often misleading. A truly transparent IT budget should be broken down into three logical parts: People (support/security) Hardware (device lifecycle) Office (network/Wi-Fi) Most "all-in-one" plans bundle these, forcing you to overpay. Learn how to spot the bloat and build a more predictable IT budget in our new guide. The MSP charging $20K/month isn't technically better than you. They don't have more certifications. They don't respond faster to tickets. They don't have better SLAs. They have one thing you don't: Strategic positioning. Here's what that actually means: When their client's CEO plans next year's growth, the MSP is in the room. When yours plans growth, you get an email: "We're adding 10 users next month." When their client faces a business constraint, they call for strategic input. When yours faces a constraint, they call when something breaks. When their contract comes up for renewal, the client asks: "How do we deepen this partnership?" When yours renews, the client asks: "Can we negotiate on price?" Same technical capabilities. Completely different positioning. And positioning determines everything: → Whether you're invited to planning meetings or just told the decisions → Whether expansions are conversations or negotiations → Whether you're seen as essential or replaceable → Whether you command premium pricing or defend commodity rates The MSPs making $200K-$500K more annually than you aren't working harder. They're positioned differently. Vendor positioning caps your revenue at technical service delivery. Strategic partner positioning opens expansion based on business impact. You can't fix a positioning problem with better service delivery. You can only fix it by changing how clients see your role in their success. 👉 Be honest: When your best client makes their next major business decision, will you be in the room...or will you hear about it in a ticket?

New phishing wave hitting Ohio businesses today. We're tracking a coordinated campaign targeting SMB financial departments. Emails appear to come from trusted vendors with invoice updates. Three actions to take right now: • Verify multi-factor authentication is enabled on all email accounts • Quarantine any unexpected invoice emails immediately • Patch all endpoints within 24 hours Our SIEM detected 47 attempts across client networks this morning. Average containment time: 8 minutes. If you're unsure whether your team is protected, call us at (740) 536-0530. We'll run a quick security assessment at no cost. Your business can't afford to wait on threats like this.

Had an interesting conversation with an MSP owner yesterday about his talented scriptwriter. Great tech, solid automation skills, but missing the strategic picture. 🤔 The real challenge? This MSP owner knows his tech could leave tomorrow, taking all that tribal knowledge with him. No documentation, no handover plan, no continuity. 😬 Young technicians see automation as a way to get tasks done faster. Experienced ones understand it's about delivering exceptional service consistently. The difference? Strategic thinking and mentorship. 💡 Have you seen this pattern in your MSP? #MSP #Automation #Leadership

Let’s get real for a moment: most Autotask-based MSPs don’t have a data problem — they have a structural problem. Here’s what that really means for your MSP: - Too many disconnected dashboards that don’t align. - Inconsistent backlog definitions that confuse your team. - SLA metrics that mean different things to different managers. - Leadership meetings where numbers are discussed, but decisions are avoided. AI can’t solve structural inconsistency. It can only analyze what you feed it. If your processes aren’t aligned, AI will amplify the confusion instead of solving it. If you’ve ever looked at your Autotask report and thought, Why are we debating numbers instead of making decisions? — you’re not alone. Like this video if this resonates with you. So many MSP conversations get stuck in the weeds. Stacks. Tools. Tickets. Features. Certifications. None of that is what clients are actually buying. Business owners buy outcomes: Stability. Reliability. Security. Clarity. This article breaks down a simple truth: ➡️ Before you can be a “strategic partner,” you have to earn stability. ➡️ Before you talk strategy, you have to remove noise. ➡️ Before IT becomes a growth lever, it has to stop being a distraction. If your client conversations still sound like IT meetings instead of business conversations, read this guest blog post by John Snyder of Net Friends. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gcYj2KKF

If your team feels overloaded, it’s rarely a people problem. It’s almost always a process problem. Here are the top 5 signs your MSP is running on chaos instead of control: 1. Kick-off calls turn into wishlist sessions 2. No documented change control 3. Techs saying “yes” without approval 4. Rework is normal instead of rare 5. Deadlines slip because nobody owns the workflow Fix these, and margin climbs instantly. This is what I install for MSPs: • Defined scope • Change control • PM structure that prevents chaos • A delivery process your team can trust #MSP #Operations #ProjectManagement #ProcessImprovement #FractionalLeadership

$4.6 million. That's what one small contractor just paid for misrepresenting cybersecurity compliance. Think your MSP won't be affected? Think again. If you're helping clients calculate SPRS scores, handle CUI, or choose email providers without fully understanding FedRAMP Moderate, you're gambling your future. In my MSP Success article, I break down exactly why compliance isn't "coming soon" - it's here now, with enforcement and serious fines. This isn't theory - it's real, it's costly, and it's happening. Every SMB I helped onboard to CDW had the same problem. Their EDI providers didn't talk to each other. Support? Good luck. You're either talking to a bot or waiting 2-4 weeks for a human. And the invoices... One month: $3,200 Next month: $4,800 "Why did it go up?" "Well, you added 2 users, hit your transaction limit, and..." They couldn't budget because the bill changed every month. Setup fees. Onboarding fees. Per-user fees. Overage charges. I watched this happen over and over. Small businesses stuck with enterprise leftovers. Paying for bloated systems built for companies 100x their size. So I flipped the model. Here's what we built: ActionEDI works differently. → No setup fees → No per-user charges → Unlimited documents → Unlimited transactions We look at your consumption once a year and set a flat rate that fits your budget. Same bill. Every month. No surprises. 365-day money-back guarantee because we're that sure it works. What changed: "How long until we're live?" "Months, right?" Nope. Days. "Wait, what's the catch with unlimited transactions?" There isn't one. "And support?" You're talking to a human. Right now. This year we added two AI tools: QuickQuotes - Generate accurate quotes automatically ActionDocs - Search every document in your system instantly Both included. No extra fees. The part that surprised me: It's not the pricing or features customers talk about most. It's the predictability. "I finally know what my EDI costs each month." "I can actually budget for this." "I don't have to explain overage charges to my CFO." When you've seen dozens of SMBs struggle with the same broken system, you realize the fix isn't complicated. Just build it for them, not for enterprises. I'll be sharing the tactics and mistakes along the way. The stuff that applies whether you're in EDI or selling widgets. Follow along → actionedi .com
