Connor McGogney posted thisI'm pleased to share that I've been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Criteo, effective August 10. Over the past eight years, I've had the opportunity to work alongside exceptional colleagues around the world across our finance, strategy, and business teams. I'm grateful to our Board and Michael Komasinski for their confidence, and especially to Sarah Glickman for her partnership, leadership and everything she has done to strengthen our Company. I'm excited to build on that foundation as we continue executing our strategy. With our unique combination of technology, data, talent and customer partnerships, I believe Criteo is well positioned to help advertisers and retailers succeed in a rapidly evolving commerce and AI landscape. Connor McGogney reposted thisConnor McGogney reposted thisPerformance marketing is changing fast, and the old way of managing channels in silos just doesn’t reflect how people shop anymore. With today’s launch of full self-service for Criteo GO, we’re offering SMBs and growth-stage brands access to AI-powered, cross-channel, full-funnel performance in a single, streamlined experience. In as few as five clicks, advertisers can activate performance campaigns across social, display, video, and native while GO automatically optimizes to achieve the best outcome, informed by 740M daily shoppers, $1T in annual transactions, and 5B product SKUs. And we’re just getting started. Our Onboarding Agent is live with this release, and more channels and agentic capabilities are coming soon as GO works to redefine what “simple” and “effective” mean for performance marketers. As we continue with enhancements, I’m also thrilled to welcome Courtney MacConnell as Vice President of Commercialization for GO. Courtney joins Criteo from Google, where she was previously Head of Shopping and helped scale their Performance Max offering. I also want to congratulate Christopher Towl on his appointment to VP of GO Product. Together, their experience scaling AI-powered performance solutions will be instrumental as we take GO to its next phase of global growth. Thank you to them, and to all the Criteo teams who made this vision a reality. More about today’s announcement: https://bit.ly/4bVHC5t

Connor McGogney shared thisThe future of recommendation is hybrid. At Criteo, we’re building performance-tuned recommendation agents that unite recommendation systems and LLMs into a single hybrid framework. This is setting a new foundation for how businesses leverage AI as a growth lever and creating intelligent agents that guide consumers with both accuracy and trust. In a new blog post, my colleague Flavian Vasile, explains why Criteo’s expertise and scale uniquely positions us to create this hybrid architecture that will define the next generation of commerce recommendation: https://bit.ly/4nNDZTFThe Future of Commerce Recommendation: Why Hybrid Systems Will Win | CriteoThe Future of Commerce Recommendation: Why Hybrid Systems Will Win | Criteo

Connor McGogney shared thisThrilled to see our strategy at Criteo for expanding access to retail media continue to come to life through this exciting partnership with Google — becoming their first partner for onsite retail media. As Michael Komasinski mentioned, the future of retail media is being built on innovation and collaboration — and this partnership is a big step forward on that journey. A huge thank you to our incredible Partnerships team for making this possible. 🙌 Your hard work is opening new doors for retailers and media owners by unlocking new advertising budgets and simplifying access to retail media.Connor McGogney shared thisOn our last earnings call, I shared our goal of creating stronger connections between demand and supply to deliver better outcomes, simplify workflows and reduce tech tax. Today, that vision continues to take shape as we become Google Marketing Platform’s first partner for onsite retail media. The more advertiser demand we scale, the more value we create for retailers and media owners. For the industry to thrive, we need to broaden access and give more retailers the ability to attract budgets and more brands the confidence to invest across the ecosystem. Partnerships like this are an important step forward to unlock new advertising dollars, prove incremental impact and help ensure a level playing field. The future of retail media will be built on both innovation and collaboration and I’m grateful to Google for joining us in that vision. Read the full press release here: https://bit.ly/3JTSsP2

Connor McGogney liked thisConnor McGogney liked thisSome hires feel particularly "meant to be". I wanted to officially welcome Claire Gubian to Criteo as Chief of Staff to our CEO, Michael Komasinski. I've known Claire for a few years now, as part of the Frenchies in NY... Claire and I were connected through Cedric Gerard, someone whose judgment I’ve trusted for a long time (yes, Cedric, it's public recognition, especially as former Criteo). And it took me ONE conversation to understand why he thought we should meet. What I didn't foresee was that it would be both a human AND professional instant click. Claire has one of those backgrounds that creates a pretty "unique kind of smart". Strategy consulting at Roland Berger. Operating experience at PayPal (with the amazing Caroline Thelier). And most recently, years at Dataiku working at the intersection of AI, data and business transformation, helping companies turn increasingly powerful technology into actual business outcomes. That combination of strategic thinking, operational depth, technology fluency, selflessness and international perspective is rare. And if you add this idea that Claire is an amazing listener, strategist AND execution translator, then it becomes crystal clear why she will be a crucial player to get Criteo at its next phase. What I probably like most is Claire’s ability to help a team take decisions, but also figure out right away the short-term and long-term consequences of these decisions, across our entire company. That feels very Criteo. Welcome Claire. Day 1 starts now: you're learning already very fast, please challenge us, get close to the teams and our customers, and turn ideas into action.

Connor McGogney liked thisConnor McGogney liked thisToday marks the close of an incredible six-year chapter at Criteo. When I joined, I saw extraordinary talent, differentiated assets, and the opportunity to reinvent an important company for a new era of marketing. My conviction ran deep enough that, in the middle of COVID - with two young children and my wife’s leadership role at Lyft to consider - we moved our lives to Paris and went all in. Six years later, that conviction is even stronger. Together, we transformed Criteo from a company known primarily for retargeting into a commerce platform that helps brands engage consumers across the entire customer journey. We built new products and capabilities, navigated some of the industry’s most consequential changes, and helped shape what comes next for commerce, data, and the agentic frontier. That transformation belongs to an exceptional global team, and my fellow leaders. I am enormously proud of what we built, and even more grateful for the people, partnerships, and friendships that made it possible. There is tremendous opportunity still ahead, and I’ll remain an advisor through the end of September to support a smooth transition. I’ll share more about my next chapter soon. But today belongs to Criteo and the remarkable people who made these six years so meaningful. Merci à tous, pour tout!

Landmark Ventures is bringing together 125+ leaders across #Sports, #Media, #Advertising, #Retail & #Technology for our inaugural SMART Summit at Yankee Stadium on September 22. We'll spend the afternoon digging into AI, agentic workflows, commerce media, identity, measurement, performance marketing and M&A, with keynotes, interactive roundtables, and the kind of intimate networking where conversations matter. Then we trade the conference room for a VIP suite and New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays under the lights. Connor McGogney liked thisConnor McGogney liked thisToday's a big one. Kard has officially signed an agreement to be acquired by Citi! A day like this brings a lot of emotion, but first and foremost I’m proud of all that the Kard Krew, past and present, has accomplished. We built something special in a difficult and competitive market. We fought through the fintech winter. We fought through a global pandemic. And we came out stronger every time. We built a platform that gives millions of consumers more personalized rewards, drives real outcomes for merchants, and deepens engagement for our issuers. With Citi, our commerce media network can expand rapidly. This enables us to reach our vision of making rewards simple for millions of customers across the country. I'm fired up about what's next – working with the Citi U.S. Consumer Cards team, getting our platform into their products, and building towards what we've always wanted: rewards that feel tailored to each and every consumer, merchants that see real ROI, and issuers that build real loyalty. Lastly, none of this happens without the rest of the Kard family. The support from our friends, family members, customers, partners, and investors. Shout out to Underscore VC, Fin Capital, Tiger Global, and everyone else who backed us early. Thank you for everything you all did for us. https://lnkd.in/gajKtJNyCiti Expands Customer Engagement and Commerce Media Capabilities with Addition of KardCiti Expands Customer Engagement and Commerce Media Capabilities with Addition of Kard

Connor McGogney liked thisConnor McGogney liked thisI’m honored to be recognized as one of Ad Age's Leading Women and proud to be included alongside such an accomplished group of leaders. Congrats to all of this year’s honorees ~ keep rocking! When generative AI first emerged, I believed it would be transformative, but it wasn’t yet clear how it could create meaningful value for Criteo. Rather than forcing the timing, we waited until there was a clear opportunity to create value. When ChatGPT evolved into an advertising platform, our team was ready to rock, and Criteo ultimately became OpenAI’s first advertising API partner. This experience reinforced something I’ve learned and preached throughout my career: seeing an opportunity early matters, but timing matters just as much. Knowing when to act, and when not to, is an important part of strategy. I’m grateful to the team that saw the opportunity and made it happen. This recognition is for ALL of us. Thank you to Ad Age for the recognition, and to the colleagues and trusted sounding boards who helped shape the thinking along the way. Connor McGogney liked thisConnor McGogney liked thisAs someone who appreciates transformation, I am long Unity. They’re in the midst of an impressive turnaround — sunsetting the ironSource Ads Network, divesting Supersonic, and launching Unity Vector, their new AI platform that unlocks the value from their incredible data moat. Near term, they have a 100x better version of AppLovin. They’ve launched a payments service, giving them a credible path to replicate Shopify’s shop app, shop audiences, and more — for mobile. Co owning customer data for targeting optimizing and measuring on outcomes. Further out, there are seeds planted for applications of the rendering engine to new industries — medtech, industrial tech, with the industrial vertical already growing 50% year-over-year. They’re narrowing the focus, cleaning out non-core assets, and I’m sure they’re working on profitability next. And the team feels totally in sync — getting stuff done. Matt Bromberg, Alex Blum and Jarrod Yahes. Overall, I’m bullish. Very cool company to watch.

As consumer brands scale faster and across more channels, financial complexity has become a defining constraint. A verticalized CPG Financial OS built on accounting and powered by AI is a fundamental component of today’s new consumer brand tech stack. Proud of this work by my colleagues Simran Suri and Natalie Dillon Maveron

What does the "new era" of private equity look like? This week at PEI NEXUS, Bain & Company's Chairman of Global Private Equity Practice Hugh MacArthur recapped the firm's latest Global Private Equity Report. Hugh noted that firms will need to focus on what they do well in a “new era” for private equity. These sentiments echoed much of what Private Wealth Forum speakers, including Arax Investment Partners Founder and CEO Haig Ariyan, Laird Norton Wetherby CIO Ron Albahary, CFA, Ardian Managing Director, US Private Wealth Solutions Ava Mallin, and Citi Wealth Head of Private Equity and Real Estate Jeffrey Locke, shared on stage at PEI. This week's AGM Alts Weekly dives into what a "new era" in private equity might look like, connecting dots and data points from Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company's 2026 reports on the state of the private equity industry. Some key themes defined the takeaways from both reports: ➡️ Returns will not be a dime a dozen: Bain's punchline? "12 is the new 5." ➡️ Megadeals, big questions: 2025 witnessed an increase in global buyout deal value. However, just 13 deals of $10B or more contributed 69% of the growth in 2025, accounting for $274B of the global gain. ➡️ A K-shaped industry: Private equity appears to turning into a K-shaped industry, with “a subset of elite funds [being] on the upswing while everyone else muddles through.” ➡️ No fun in fundraising: McKinsey noted that core, closed-end fundraising has “become more competitive, selective, and time consuming.” ➡️ Continuation nation: There’s been a marked rise in continuation vehicle activity, but only represents less than 10% of exit value. ➡️ Mid-sized deals not so mid: Megadeal activity grabbed the headlines. But deal sizes $1-5B deals grew 29%. Growth in the $1-5B deal size segment could be encouraging for specialist buyout funds. There are some key questions for allocators to grapple with as they think about what private equity might look like in the future. 1️⃣ Do allocators believe public markets will continue to outperform private markets? 2️⃣ Will fundraising bounce back? 3️⃣ Can firms kick value creation into motion? 4️⃣ Are both GPs and LPs ready to handle how investors might look to exit evergreen vehicles? 5️⃣ For LPs, are they finding managers that have an edge? Read on for more👇 This week's Alt Goes Mainstream's AGM Alts Weekly, brought to you by DealsPlus, covers: 🗂️ AGM Index, an index that tracks the leading publicly traded alternative asset managers. 💻 Who is hiring: Senior-level positions from companies Blackstone, KKR, Apollo Global Management, Inc., Ares Management, EQT Group, Blue Owl Capital, Franklin Templeton, Fortress Investment Group, iCapital, Goldman Sachs, Ultimus Fund Solutions, Krilogy, MSCI Inc. The diaper aisle is ripe for disruption. Freestyle is leading that shift. ECP Growth participated in Freestyle's $10M Series A alongside Silas Capital. Freestyle makes premium diapers and wipes built around what modern parents care about — clean ingredients, real performance at an accessible price point. EWG Verified. Total Chlorine Free. What's happening in baby care mirrors what we've watched play out across food, beauty, and personal care over the last decade. Millennial and Gen Z parents are raising the bar, and Freestyle is meeting them there, with products that don't force tradeoffs. This is exactly the kind of brand-building moment we look for at ECP: category incumbents asleep at the wheel, a founder-led team with real product conviction, and the consumer momentum to back it up. Congratulations to Russ Wallace, Mike Constantiner, and the Freestyle team. Just getting started. 🎉
