I have been blessed to have 5 female bosses in my career all whom have taught me something valuable. Lucy Werner who really taught me how hard work and confidence in your self can carry you most of the way. Amy Adams Harding who always led with her heart and people first. Lexi Reese whose work ethic, attention to detail and always standing up for what matters. inspires me still. Kim Perell who taught me fearlessness, risk taking and storytelling. Sarah Friar who is one of the greatest operators on the planet and engrained the 3Ps (People, Performance, Product) in me for life. There are also a number of female colleagues (more than I could ever fully give flowers to) who continue to inspire me to this day. I dare you to find a greater partnerships leader and champion for women than Maureen Little. One of my all time favorite founders, marketers and human beings remains Sarah Leary. My favorite CFO and longtime business partner Aidan Viggiano. The riding star sales leader who inspires me daily Alicia Bonner alongside my partner in crime, Katrina Wong. Our new State of Observability for Telecommunications and Technology report reveals that high-impact outages cost telcos an average of $2 million per hour. As seen in our latest Observability Forecast report: 1. AI monitoring has gone mainstream: adoption jumped to 54% in 2025, and 45% of executives say AI is now the top driver of observability demand. 2. Outages cost big: median cost is $2M/hour, but teams with full-stack observability cut that in half. 3. Observability pays off: nearly 1 in 5 customers see a 3–10x return on their investment. Lauren Nemeth liked thisLauren Nemeth liked thisTwenty years ago, YouTube pioneered the creator economy. Today, we’re setting a new standard for how brands and creators collaborate in the AI era. Last week, I spent the afternoon at the YouTube NewFront, and the sentiment from business leaders was clear: the influence of creators is undeniable, but the "how" remains a challenge. Finding the right partners and balancing brand storytelling with performance often feels like a hurdle. We want to change that. We are evolving YouTube Creator Partnerships into the centralized home for brand-creator campaigns. By integrating Google AI, our goal is to make it seamless for brands to discover, pitch, and partner with the right creators at scale. My take: The brands that win this year will be those that move past "one-off" posts and embrace creator stories that are scalable, measurable, and authentic. Look at the market first. Then the company. Then the job. I took this approach when I joined Databricks 5 years ago. At the time, we were only at $300M in revenue, but it was clear the data and AI market was going to be huge and Databricks had the right technology to win & become the market leader. Before you worry about your next title, ask yourself: Is this market going to be 10x bigger in five years? Is this company well-positioned to be the market leader? If the answer to either is no, it doesn’t matter how good you are at your job. The ceiling will find you.

That's how I find what's actually true: we have an incredible foundation, and we know exactly what it takes to build the right motion for merchants who are scaling fast and enterprises running complex operations. Joe Strolz is our new VP, Global Revenue and Support. Joe spent most of his career in revenue leadership before joining Shopify and he's gotten into every corner of our business. Owning both Revenue and Support under one leader means one feedback loop, and a much shorter distance between the promise we make to a merchant and the experience they actually have. Enterprise remains a key growth area and the opportunity ahead is massive. We've been building the motion - complex deals, high-touch relationships, the kind of partnership that turns an enterprise business into a long-term one. This month, Lauren Nemeth joins as VP, Global Enterprise, reporting to me. Lauren spent two decades scaling enterprise GTM at some of the most important technology companies in the world. I’m excited to have her lead this. We're also rounding out the team with new leaders for marketing and large accounts in the coming weeks. The right people to accelerate how we go to market and serve merchants as they scale. Really proud of this bench.

Can’t be a leader with no followers - be ruthlessly accountable. If you say it, do it - be a simplifier. PMMs live in complexity by definition. Are you someone that can bring focus and simplicity or are you just an explainer of the complexity? - sell. As they should. 😌 Because the winning GTM motion in 2026 and beyond isn’t either marketplace or channel. It’s both. Marketplace = access + speed + cloud alignment. Channel = scale + relationships + distribution. Put them together? That’s how ISVs grow faster than their headcount, and how global revenue becomes predictable, repeatable, and unstoppable.
