AI adoption directly affects people, how work is organized, and the dynamics of teams, and that’s exactly where HR can make the biggest difference. HR leaders have a unique opportunity to guide this change. They can help redesign workflows, ensure employees have the skills they need, and create systems where people and technology work together effectively. Larry Dunivan reposted thisThis post from Pyn co-founder, Joris Luijke (He/Him), made me want to lift the curtain a bit on what we’ve been working on at 15Five. 15Five was a first-mover in performance management and people analytics when we entered the category back in 2011. Today, it’s not only the likes of OpenAI and Anthropic creating this employee intelligence/context layer. We’ve long been chipping away at it, coupling our expansive employee engagement dataset (spanning over 10+ years across thousands of organizations) with more recent integrations with Slack, Teams, Asana, Notion, Jira, Github, GenAI tools and many more. Over that sit AI agents that interface with users, serving up nudges to prompt managers and senior leaders with real-time insights, feedback suggestions, coaching and more. This powerful combination of expansive people data + context indicating specifically how employees work, helps managers, HR and senior leadership more precisely see where performance and productivity can improve. The output: An ongoing feedback loop where teams spend less time digging through historical info to facilitate meaningful touch-points, and more time having actionable, personalized and timely conversations that advance employee development and increase operational efficiency. The TL;DR is that 15Five already helps customers understand their performance data at an extremely granular level. Now, we’re connecting the systems where work actually happens so managers and employees can improve alignment, execution and performance even better than before. Call it what you want — data-intensive pipelines or an employee intelligence context layer — 15Five’s history of building people analytics systems, understanding people data and delivering actionable, AI-led output for business leaders has given us a jump on getting this thing right.Larry Dunivan reposted thisWhat's happening inside OpenAI and Anthropic People Innovation Labs? HR at real AI-native companies are building something really interesting. ... an employee intelligence / context layer. Most HR teams aren't even thinking about this yet. They may not notice until - at some point - their CPO asks them why their AI stack costs 10x more and does half as much 🤣 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 / 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿? My overly simplistic explanation is "a unified place where structured + unstructured data about every employee lives from Workday, perf tools, Slack, LMS, 1:1 notes, comp, calendar". AI agents run on top of that. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹: I was reading some of OpenAI's and Athropic's People Labs job descriptions. They talk about "building data-intensive pipelines to back internal people products with business systems of record." (that data-plumbing is done by engineerings sitting inside HR) Jack Dorsey says that Block will compete on the quality of its organizational intelligence (not just the quality of its employees or products) Some AI forward-leaning people teams I chatted to are making a similar bet. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗥 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸 👇 ❌ 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗔𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 This is what happens in most HR teams now... They think of a usecase (eg perf coaching assistant). Then wire up specific data (eg 1:1s, ratings, goals). Then move to a next usecase (eg succession planning)... Wire up different data (eg mobility, ratings, tenure). Every use case starts from scratch. You end up with a dozen AI tools that can't share context. ❌ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Some teams do pull people data into one database and run agents on top... but they don't do the plumbing properly: → The agent can't tell which "John Smith" was which across systems. → It surfaced a peer's comp to a manager who shouldn't see it. → It told someone "Priya's manager is Alex" — three months after Alex had changed teams. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱: 🪪 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 — "Sarah" in Workday, Slack, Greenhouse, and the LMS is the same person. Sounds obvious. Surprisingly hard. 🔒 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 — a manager sees their team's comp, not their peer's. 🕰️ 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 — who was Priya's manager on March 3rd? When did we record it? ⚡ 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 — most HR systems don't broadcast changes in real time. You have to build for that. 💬 𝗨𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 — 1:1 notes, reviews, feedback, internal comms — wired in with permissions and provenance, so agents cite sources and HR can actually trust outputs. When I see a team that's done this well, it feels like magic ✨ It takes engineers who genuinely understand people systems, people data, and HR use cases. It is not a vibe code project.

Larry Dunivan liked thisLarry Dunivan liked thisMaking a big career pivot later in life isn’t for the faint of heart—but it might just be the best decision I’ve ever made. After years in my established field, taking the leap into a new market and joining a Managed Service Provider (MSP) felt equal parts terrifying and thrilling. Stepping into the fast-paced, constantly evolving world of IT infrastructure, client strategy, and managed solutions meant learning a whole new playbook. Here is what I’ve learned along the way: 1) Experience is transferable: The domain knowledge changes, but core skills—problem-solving, strategic planning, client communication, and leadership under pressure—only get stronger with age. 2) The MSP firehose is real (and invigorating): Working at an MSP means wearing multiple hats and solving complex puzzles daily. There is zero time to grow stagnant. 3) It’s never too late to be a beginner: Dropping the comfort of expertise to embrace a steep learning curve keeps your mind sharp and restores that initial career spark. If you are sitting on the fence about making a major shift because of where you are in your career timeline, don't let age dictate your potential. The intersection of seasoned wisdom and new industry knowledge is a powerful place to be. Here’s to betting on yourself and embracing the next chapter! 🚀 #CareerPivot #MSP #ManagedServices #CareerGrowth #LifeLongLearning #LateCareerChange #TechIndustry

This weekend, thanks to the creative idea of the leaders at Clare Housing, we hosted "Crust Club with a Cause" to help our friends learn about an organization close to our hearts making real impact in Minnesota. It was awesome. Over 25 of our friends and neighbors met Clare leadership, learned about the organization's impact, made cards for residents, and raised $$. The hit of the night - "Hoops for Housing" where kids (and parents) convinced people to sponsor them, negotiated a "rate per hoop" and had 1 minute to make as many baskets as they could. [These kids are VERY good at basketball.... we learned!] So grateful for a beautiful night, generous friends, and full bellies of tasty pizza.

Larry Dunivan liked thisLarry Dunivan liked thisA New Chapter, a Rare Opportunity: Passing the Torch on HR.com & MYPeople.ai After an incredible journey building in the HR tech and media space, the time has come for me to plan my retirement. As I prepare for this next chapter, I am looking for the right buyers, visionaries, and strategic investors to take three highly valuable assets to their next level. Whether you are looking to acquire a crown-jewel digital asset, step into a highly profitable media business, or lead the future of enterprise AI, let’s talk. 1. For Sale: The HR.com Domain Name This is a true legacy asset. As one of only 674 premium two-letter (.com) domains in existence, with unmatched authority and brand equity. The Vision: This is the ultimate play for a major enterprise looking to rebrand, or a tech giant looking to build the definitive agentic AI layer that sits on top of thousands of fragmented HR solutions. 2. For Sale: The HR.com Media Business We’ve built a powerhouse community and media engine. The Financials: A highly stable, profitable business generating solid 7-figure profitability annually. The Opportunity: A turnkey operation for a media conglomerate or strategic buyer looking for immediate, high-margin cash flow and a massive built-in audience of 2.2M+ members. 3. Investment & Leadership Opportunity: MYPeople.ai I am seeking long-term funding/investors and a visionary leader to take this cutting-edge, multi-tenanted platform to global scale. The heavy lifting is done: completely rewritten to create an entirely API-first, AI-native platform The Architecture: A state-of-the-art tech stack built from the ground up on two modern pillars: API-First (Bring Your Own Code Ready): Features a comprehensive API and webhook architecture with pre-built connectors to major platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Dayforce and currently connecting systems daily. AI-First (Intelligence Built-In): Far more than a simple chatbot, the platform features native LLM-powered agentic search, an AI agent builder/marketplace, and predictive data scoring. The Core Value Proposition: MYPeople.ai replaces bloated, fragmented single-use vendor portals. By delivering a single integrated user identity across product, support, and community, it acts as a unified customer intelligence engine that tracks actionable business data—such as Customer Health Indices, Predictive Churn Risks, and Intent/Cross-sell Signals. The Market Validation: This technology is not theoretical. It was rigorously tested and proven at scale. It features over 90 functional modules (including events, CMS, MarTech, gamification, and CRM) . The Outlook: We are launching with 15 clients this quarter and are backed by a flexible, multi-stream commercial model (SaaS licensing, transaction revenue, and audience monetization). The platform is highly scalab eprojected to be profitable within the next 12 months. Serious inquiries from institutional investors and qualified buyers only. “I would imagine there are few technology sales executives as knowledgeable about HCM as Larry. Larry came to Ceridian from senior IT leadership positions and initially was in this role at Ceridian. He elected to take on the challenge of leading our sales team (which later expanded to all of revenue) and has consistently exceeded the mark in terms of production, sales, customer satisfaction and internal cultural improvements. I can attest to the significant advancements to our processes and people, resulting in measurable employee engagement increases, which far exceeds levels when he entered office. Larry does not accept the status quo, he empowers his team by actually removing obstacles to success, and provides true transparency in leadership. As a member of his broader sales team, not under his direct supervision, Larry has always maintained a completely open door policy in which anyone has access to him to work issues or close business. You always know exactly where you stand with Larry, what he is thinking and what is expected of you – which is extremely refreshing and appreciated. He asks the tough questions, internally and externally, ensuring accountability on both sides. He focuses on “doing what is right” for our partners, customers and people…there is no fluff. With great pleasure I highly recommend Larry as a strategic leader.”

Wisenbaker Builder Services is LIVE on Workday HCM + Payroll, primed by Okorio. When Wisenbaker set out to support its next phase of growth, they knew they needed a modern, scalable platform to unify HR and payroll operations across the organization. As a one-stop shop for home product design, manufacturing, and installation, Wisenbaker required a system that could keep pace with operational complexity while delivering a better experience for their people. By launching Workday HCM + Payroll through a Launch Express approach, Wisenbaker went live on January 1, 2026, laying the foundation for a single system of record across their workforce bringing core HR, time, absence, compensation, talent, and payroll together on one modern platform designed to scale with the business. This rapid activation enabled Wisenbaker to: • Go live across HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Core Compensation, and Talent • Successfully deliver 13 integrations across the ecosystem • Settle their initial payrolls this week • Implement a custom solution for unique worker data tracking and reporting Most importantly, this approach allowed the team to stay focused on supporting employees and operations, rather than getting slowed down by manual processes or fragmented systems. Partnering with Okorio, Wisenbaker now has: • A unified HCM and Payroll foundation built for growth • Automated, compliant workflows across the employee lifecycle • Real-time visibility to support confident, data-driven decisions We’re proud to be part of Wisenbaker’s Workday journey and excited to support their continued pursuit of operational excellence and innovation. 🤝 Justin Williams Rohit Mehrotra Jessie Mann Scott Hecker Andrea King Hifzur Meerapatel Sherika Jones Cooper Dickerson Tomás Mota David Blayton Mahesh Neelakantapuram Leana Lien, PHR, SHRM-CP Matthew Matsudaira Shelby H. #Okorio #WDAYPartner #WorkdayGoLive #WorkdayHCM #WorkdayPayroll #CustomerSuccess #DigitalTransformation

Is AI-driven software the next gold rush—or just early innings with a lot of strikeouts ahead? 🤔 In this special episode of The SaaS CFO Podcast, Jim Williams (Managing Director at GLC Advisors) and I dig into what we’re really seeing in the market right now. While there’s no shortage of early-stage funding activity, clarity on long-term winners is still elusive. As with any venture cycle, many bets won’t pan out—and that’s part of the process. What’s clear? Traditional, well-built software businesses with strong fundamentals are still driving meaningful M&A outcomes today. The AI sub-sector may eventually mature into a core part of mid-market PE and growth equity—but for now, it’s still relatively small and evolving.
