They were patient for the "right one". This one wasn't even on the market yet, but we were able to tour it twice and beat out multiple offers, one being cash, while still only paying list price. Kyle Saville, PMP liked thisKyle Saville, PMP liked thisGoodbye Microsoft, Hello Retirement After more than seven years at Microsoft and fifteen in tech, I’m finally making space for the things I’ve been quietly postponing: my health, my family, and the miscellaneous life‑tasks that have formed a precarious Jenga tower of neglected responsibilities. One more ignored dentist appointment and the whole thing might collapse. The timing feels cosmically on point. It’s Spring, Easter is around the corner, and everything seems to be leaning towards renewal... though I’m hoping my comeback arc takes longer than three days. And most personally, my little one just lost his second tooth. A tiny milestone, but a big reminder that all the clichés are true: it’s going by fast, and I want to be present for more of it. This wasn’t an easy decision. I’m leaving a great team, meaningful work, a recent promotion, and the particular chaos‑meets‑thrill of building at the frontiers of AI. But there’s something to be said for bowing out on a C9-note. Out of intention rather than exhaustion. I also know what a privilege it is to be able to make this choice, and I don’t take that lightly. As for what’s next, I’m looking forward to slower mornings, longer walks, and the kind of small, everyday creativity that shows up when life finally has some breathing room. Maybe I’ll practice my major scales on the piano. Maybe I’ll attempt one of the 65,536 books I’ve accumulated like a well‑intentioned hoarder. And, of course, there will be laundry. There’s always laundry. Thank you to my incredible network, colleagues, and mentors along the way. I’m under no illusion that I got here through raw talent and clean living alone. Progress is rarely linear or solitary; I’ve been lifted, steadied, and course‑corrected more times than I care to tally. Extra‑special thanks to a few who shaped so much of my journey: Adrian Barragan, Alex Val, Brian Goetz, Kim Gonzales, Matt Murphy, Stacy Chagnon. And an especially heartfelt thank you to Rohan Gosain, my partner in every sense. That aforementioned Jenga tower would have toppled long ago without your steadiness, your clarity of thought, and your ability to reach every tall cabinet in our home. You’ve managed to keep things, literal and otherwise, just out of collapse, and for that, I’m deeply grateful. Here’s to rest, renewal, and whatever comes next.

They typed your name into a search bar. The better question is: "What do you want?" Because maybe what they're offering is actually worth the 30 seconds. This post is for my cold calling sales reps. After nearly five years with the company, I am excited to announce that I will be taking on a new role as the AWS Alliance Manager for the West coast with Archera. My time at AWS has been both rewarding and challenging. I have had the opportunity to pioneer new segments, from supporting the Private Equity team to focusing on Mid-Market companies, and ultimately working with our partners on the PTM team through an indirect seller motion. I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I've gained over the past five years, which I will undoubtedly carry into my future endeavors. A special thank you to my mentor and friend, Fadi Ghishan; I will miss swinging by your office and hearing about how up you are on the stock market and filling you in on my shenanigans. Also, would like to thank Raja N. it has been an absolute pleasure being under your leadership this past year and I look forward to working together in the future. AWS has allowed me to grow in countless ways and has introduced me to some of the most talented individuals. We split into three teams covering three streets, cleaning up the areas we inhabit during the school year.
We were able to raise awareness with the amount of trash we collected, with the hope of turning this into a yearly event. -
