    Environment

    I was a volunteer for Ducks Unlimited prior to joining in a staff capacity. For the last six years, I have been heavily involved in the Wolf River TN chapter, assisting with the annual DU Waterfowl Hunter's Party and Crawfish Boil.

    In 2010, I had the honor of serving as the committee chairman and today I continue to volunteer for this event which has grown tremendously in a very short time.

    Education

    I currently serve as a mentor/advisor to two MBA students who are enrolled at the University of Mississippi as part of a sanctioned MBA mentor program. While relatively new in this capacity, I hope to provide advice for these students as they prepare to enter the job market upon graduation. This includes sharing personal experiences, conducting mock interviews and being available to answer questions that arise during their process.

    Since 2010, the DU Web Team has worked to build a strong social community on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. All combined, we have established a community that is approaching 1 million fans in just a few years.

    In particular, Facebook has been central to our social media program. For years, we have worked to build relationships with this younger generation and extend the reach of the DU brand. Today we continue this approach, but also use Facebook to generate…

    Since 2010, the DU Web Team has worked to build a strong social community on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. All combined, we have established a community that is approaching 1 million fans in just a few years.

    In particular, Facebook has been central to our social media program. For years, we have worked to build relationships with this younger generation and extend the reach of the DU brand. Today we continue this approach, but also use Facebook to generate significant revenue and memberships from this channel. Moving forward, social media will continue to be vital to our marketing, communications and fundraising efforts.

    Since 2010, the Ducks Unlimited Web team has developed six unique mobile apps for iPhone, Android and Windows platforms. As of today, these apps have been downloaded by more than 250,000 DU supporters - and potential supporters. The apps vary in functionality and were developed jointly from internal developers working with external vendors.

    Working in close coordination with DU's Direct Response Team, the DU Web Team has worked for years to develop and enhance our online fundraising program. Using channels such as the website, email marketing, social media, mobile push notifications and mail pieces, the DU website has generated nearly $11 million through online giving and membership transactions since 2006. As supporters look for more convenient ways to support DU, our digital media will continue to be a key channel to facilitate…

    Working in close coordination with DU's Direct Response Team, the DU Web Team has worked for years to develop and enhance our online fundraising program. Using channels such as the website, email marketing, social media, mobile push notifications and mail pieces, the DU website has generated nearly $11 million through online giving and membership transactions since 2006. As supporters look for more convenient ways to support DU, our digital media will continue to be a key channel to facilitate this support.

    We also work with our Advertising Sales team to sell banner ads and sponsorships for a number of unique programs - especially Waterfowl 360. Given the growth in web traffic and a growing interest from advertisers in the digital space, our website is well positioned for future success in this area as well.

    Working with an extraordinary team of web developers, editorial experts and others, our team has built and continues to refine the DU website to serve as a key commutations and fundraising vehicle for the organization.

    On an annual basis, the site receives more than 55 million page views from over 4 million unique visitors. In addition, the website now generates in excess of $4 million annually through online giving and advertising - a growth rate of about 35% since last year.

    I'm extremely fortunate to be surrounded by such a talented group who has worked hard over the years to make the website a success.

    The DU Web Team recently unveiled a brand new, mobile optimized version of www.ducks.org. The new version adapts to mobile phones and presents a more user friendly experience. Results have been positive, with retention and conversion rates up since the roll-out.

    Recently, the Web Marketing Association named our site as the top non-profit mobile website in an international competition.

    DU joined many industry giants in the WMA winners circle this year, including Dodge, Google…
