It has been a rewarding journey filled with challenges, growth, and many successes. I have been fortunate to learn from outstanding leaders and colleagues, and I am grateful for the lifelong friendships I have built along the way—friendships I look forward to carrying into retirement.

Chief Cardiac Surgeon Dr. Brenda Coleman and her son, pediatric fellow Dr. Julian Coleman, led adjacent surgical suites to perform a donor heart transfer that saved two young siblings facing end-stage heart failure. Both operations were completed without complications in under eight hours. Let’s send this incredible mother-son surgical duo our highest praise!

Such a refreshing break from a world where my job became my identity for so long. I noticed how she led from the minute I met her, powerfully and completely authentically. Work didn't come up until much later. And when it finally did, and I learned more about her vision and got to see her masterfully using AI, it was obvious our connection would go well beyond the training. Katja is the founder and CEO of Viveka, a human development platform connecting organizations with 3,500+ coaches and mentors, and using AI to measure what's actually working in their learning programs. She's been named Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Asia Pacific and by Yahoo Finance as one of 21 founders changing how business gets done. This week, Katja and I had a conversation for SheRunsOnAI™ and we talked about how she runs a team of six like a team of twenty by building AI into her actual decision making, how she runs hard problems through multiple AI models to pressure test her own thinking, and where she draws the line on what AI can inform versus what has to stay human. From Standing Up for count to Standing in the Governor’s Mansion and the White House.. Anything is possible with hard work and a chance! Thank you to the legendary Karen Morgan for believing in me.
