BTS members sat front row at shows as respective global house and brand ambassadors – j-hope at Louis Vuitton, Jimin at Christian Dior Couture, and V at CELINE. CORTIS made their Paris Fashion Week debut, with Juhoon, Keonho and Seonghyeon attending Christian Dior Couture, and James and Martin stepping out for Saint Laurent. Seventeen’s Joshua attended AMIRI. Quality Control artists Quavo and Lil Baby both sat front row and debuted new music at Louis Vuitton. Attendees got a preview of Lil Baby’s unreleased track “Dead Fresh,” while "HAAVIN," Quavo’s first single from his forthcoming album, premiered as the opening track of the show.

His answer shocked me: https://lnkd.in/gEgsYmQU When young people come to him wanting to break into HR, he asks why. Most of them say the same thing: "I love working with people." His answer surprises them every time. "Then go work in operations." Because HR isn't the nice work. It's the necessary work. For every person you get to tell they landed the job, you tell ten they didn't. You sit in the room where people get managed out. You carry the decisions nobody else wants to make, and you deliver them with a straight face and a steady voice. That's not niceness. That's something harder. A mentor told him a line years ago that he never let go of: "We're not in the nice business. We're in the fair business." That one word is the whole job. Nice means everyone leaves the room happy. Fair means the right thing happens even when it costs someone something. Nice avoids the hard conversation. Fair has it, with kindness, and doesn't flinch. The best HR leaders he's known were never the nicest people in the building. They were the fairest. They'd tell you the truth you didn't want to hear. They'd protect the person nobody was protecting. They'd make the call that was right over the call that was easy. So if you're going into HR because you're nice, reconsider. If you're going into HR because you can be fair when it's hard, the profession needs you.

The party featured attendance from &TEAM, SAINT SATINE, and SANTOS BRAVOS as well as Eric Nam, Ji-young Yoo and other cast members from K-Pop: The Debut, the HYBE America and Paramount Pictures film hitting theaters in February 2027. KCON 2026 featured performances from &TEAM and SANTOS BRAVOS on August 14, ILLIT and YEONJUN on August 15, and EVAN and headliners TXT on August 16 to cap off the weekend. Fans were treated to additional performances and appearances from multiple artists in the surrounding days around KCON. YEONJUN performed as part of Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series in New York City’s Central Park on August 5 along with Z100’s Summer Bash on August 6 at Hudson Yards. In Los Angeles, he played a special, intimate Billboard Live “One Night Only” showcase at the historic Troubadour on August 12 and delivered a high energy pregame headline performance at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Korean Heritage Night on August 13 as well as throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. &TEAM appeared at the GRAMMY Museum for a special Global Spin Live event on August 12, featuring a conversation moderated by Emily Mei about their upcoming music, career and more, along with their first ever performance in the U.S. Two days later, EVAN took to the GRAMMY Museum’s Rooftop as part of their Spotlight series to discuss his solo career, creative process and debut digital single RIDE OR DIE with Billboard reporter Tetris Kelly before treating the sold out crowd to a special performance. CORTIS brought their highly anticipated <PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN> TOUR to Los Angeles with an electric performance at the YouTube Theater on August 13. Audiences worldwide were also able to witness the show be broadcast live in cinemas around the globe through 2026 CORTIS TOUR <PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN> IN LA: LIVE VIEWING, presented by Trafalgar Releasing in partnership with HYBE. SANTOS BRAVOS served as the Honorary Falconers for Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) on August 15 ahead of their match against San Diego FC, with SAINT SATINE also in attendance for the match.
