Many older adults live on fixed incomes and are often overlooked. A simple basket filled with essentials and small comforts can make a meaningful difference in their daily lives. If you’d like to participate, you can donate items in two easy ways: By assembling a basket yourself and we will be happy to pick it up. Or by purchasing items directly from our Amazon gift list, which will ship straight to our office: https://lnkd.in/e-fMXaGh Each Spring Basket may include: - $25 grocery gift card (Kroger or Walmart preferred) with a short, personalized note - Cleaning & hygiene supplies: laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges, multipurpose cleaner, paper products, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, lotion - Nonperishable foods: nutritious snacks, single‑serve meals, soup, nuts, crackers, or sweet treats - Comfort items: socks, bath or kitchen towels, spring décor, books, puzzles, stationery, or stamps Your generosity helps ensure that seniors in our community feel seen, supported, and cared for. Even one basket - or a single item from the gift list - can brighten someone’s day in a truly meaningful way. All baskets/items are needed by April 10, 2026.

The position is hybrid and located in Smyrna, supporting employees going on or currently on leave, managing FMLA and multi-state leave cases, reviewing and updating tax and jurisdiction details in the HRIS, and working heavily within Workday and ServiceNow to keep cases accurate and compliant. If you feel you are underpaid, assuming you are well respected at work and getting good reviews, ask for a raise. If you are given a raise, then congratulations. If you are told no, then you know how much your company values you, and you can begin looking for a new job. It might take time, but you will find a new opportunity. When you resign, you WILL receive a counteroffer. Your company WILL give you more money and other perks. Just remember that it took you resigning to receive that pay increase and those perks. You can also remember that your loyalty to the company is now gone. Your relationship with your boss and peers will change. You will be the first cut when it's time to make changes. If you decide to leave a company, then leave. Leave with class and appreciation for the opportunity, but leave.
