We are looking for five (5) subject matter experts (SMEs) to participate in a paid virtual technical review session for a new certification exam: DP-800 Developing AI-Enabled Database Solutions This will be an Item Selection/Standard Setting Session and will take place as follows: IS/SS Session (virtual via Microsoft Teams) Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 8:00am-2:00pm Pacific Time SME Requirements : - Expertise in designing and developing AI-enabled database solutions across Microsoft SQL platforms, including Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and SQL databases in Microsoft Fabric. - Experience writing T-SQL code and developing databases in Microsoft SQL platforms. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices in GitHub, AI-assisted development tools, and AI concepts, such as embeddings, vectors, and models. - Experience designing and developing database solutions that include both structured and semi-structured data, and integrating AI features into modern and highly scalable enterprise applications. - Ability to secure, optimize, and deploy database solutions, and collaborate with application developers, DBAs, architects, AI engineers, DevSecOps engineers, and other stakeholders. Huge shoutout and thank you to our Tampa crew who has consistently fought the traffic, thunderstorms, location changes, and bad parking instructions to form a closeknit group in this booming city! Join us for our 31st meeting next week, April 9th, as we dive back into our Build an MCP Server Hackathon. To be fair, it's more of a group challenge then a hackathon at this point, but the votes show this is even better! We will be using some Microsoft Learn material, YouTube Videos, AI, and either a live or virtual SME to help us if we get stuck to build and deploy and MCP server that can be used in Copilot Studio. You will have plenty of fuel for brainpower as there will be fancy Panera sandwiches and salad options, soda, and candy provided. We can't wait to see everyone next week! The Project Management Institute (PMI) Baltimore, a chapter of PMI with over 3,200 members, will hold a professional development event to provide networking and training to our members. We anticipate 350 participants, to include national participation, though or focus will be on the Baltimore Chapter Area. The Event runs Friday and Saturday. You can earn 16 Professional Development Units (PDUs) by attending this event.
The Professional Development Event (PDE) portion will be a two day event, starting Friday. Our event will kick off with a keynote address by a well known presenter in the project management industry, and our event will close with Sanjiv Augustine, another noted PMI leader who is considered a leading authority on Agile Project Management. During the two days, there will be several concurrent tracks, with a focus on Agile and IT Project Management. Each will be focused on separate hot topics in project management. The variety of topics will ensure that a larger number of project managers will be interested in attending. Tracks include: Soft Skills, Communications, Requirements Management, Organizational Change Management, Earned Value Management (EVM), Technology in Project Management, and Project Management Offices (PMOs).
