Dan Ammann liked thisDan Ammann liked thisAnother remarkable milestone in Guyana with the recent arrival of Errea Wittu, the fifth floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in the Stabroek block. This arrival also marks the first FPSO in the ExxonMobil Guyana fleet delivered by MODEC. It's easy to see these milestones and focus on the scale of the asset, but what stands out to me is the incredible effort behind bringing an FPSO to Guyana. Even though this is the fifth arrival since 2019, there is nothing routine about it. It takes years of planning, coordination and execution around the globe. It requires the dedication of thousands of people working toward the same goal. Achievements like these are never realized by one person or one organization. They are the result of partnership, commitment to safe and reliable operations, and a shared focus on doing things the right way. One of the things I am most pleased to see is the presence of Guyanese professionals among those on board. Over the years, I've had the privilege of watching local talent grow alongside this industry, and it's encouraging to see more Guyanese contributing directly to milestones such as this one. The vessel's name is especially meaningful. Errea Wittu, meaning "Abundance" in the Warrau language, celebrates Guyana's indigenous heritage while symbolizing the opportunities, growth and long-term sustainable development it is intended to support. Many thanks to everyone involved in making the arrival of Errea Wittu possible, from the teams who designed and built the vessel to those managing the complex logistics of bringing her safely to Guyana. #GuyanasEnergyPartner #Stabroekblock #UaruProject #ErreaWittu

We were lucky to see so many incredible cars, but this 2010 Porsche GT3 Cup car stopped us in our tracks. From 2010 – 2012 it was sponsored by Hertz and competed in some of the top endurance and sprint races, including the famed 24 Hour of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring. It is now part of a fleet of retired race cars owned by Club Wheelhouse out of Marin, CA. Hertz has a deep history in motorsports, and it was fun to see a piece of that legacy turning heads more than a decade later.

Dan Ammann liked thisDan Ammann liked thisAppreciated the opportunity to host U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) (DOE) Secretary Chris Wright in Midland this week. Walking one of our drill sites, we talked about the scale of our operations in the Permian and the use of #technologies like automated rigs that are making operations safer and more efficient as we grow production into the next decade. What stood out most wasn't the technology or the record production numbers. It was the people who are making it happen. Our team's commitment to innovation and execution is helping strengthen America's #energyleadership every day. Thank you, Secretary Wright, for taking the time to visit, to Permian Strategic Partnership for organizing, and to our workforce who make this possible.

3wDan Ammann reacted on this🔵 Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Discusses Implementation Mechanisms of MoU with ExxonMobil to Connect the Company's Discoveries in Cyprus to Egyptian Infrastructure Eng. Karim Badawi , Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, held a meeting in New Alamein City with Mr. Kenan Nariman, Vice President of ExxonMobil for LNG Market Development, Eng. Diaa Soheil , President and Venture Manager of ExxonMobil Egypt Upstream Limited, and several company leaders. During the meeting, they discussed initiating the implementation steps of the recently signed MoU between the Ministry, ExxonMobil , and QatarEnergy , which was witnessed by Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. The Minister emphasized that the meeting represents the first executive steps following the signing of the MoU, highlighting that an agreement was reached to accelerate the work of joint committees and to develop implementation programs with clear timelines for technical, commercial, and regulatory studies. This paves the way for transforming areas of cooperation into actual projects that deliver added value and economic returns for all parties — Egypt, Cyprus, and partners. He pointed out that Egypt possesses advanced infrastructure for receiving, liquefying, and re-exporting gas, alongside a large and growing domestic market. This enhances the economic viability of regional cooperation projects and supports value-added industries, most notably fertilizers and petrochemicals. For his part, Eng. Diaa Soheil praised the level of cooperation with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) affirming that the swift response and coordination helped overcome challenges and accelerate joint work. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister invited ExxonMobil's leadership to participate in the MOC, scheduled for October 2026, and to explore Egypt's liquefaction and gas export infrastructure capabilities, which supports new opportunities for cooperation and investment. #Egypt #Ministry_of_petroleum #Mineral_Resources

With Dan Murphy on CNBC International as markets opened today, amid rising regional tensions, we discussed current #oil market dynamics and geopolitical risks: • Markets are pricing a geopolitical risk premium tied to potential disruption scenarios, including possible Strait of Hormuz closure, attacks on energy infrastructure, and risks to Iranian oil supplies. • Shipping in the region is already becoming constrained amid security concerns and rising insurance costs. • Strong structural incentives argue against closure of the Strait of Hormuz, but #Iran’s military posture adds uncertainty. • Market fundamentals remain adequately supplied, with elevated inventories — including China’s stockpiles — providing near-term buffers. • Algorithmic trading is accelerating price adjustment, with markets responding to observable fundamentals and inventory signals rather than emotion — allowing risk to be repriced within hours rather than days. • The most immediate impact is likely to be increased price volatility; fuerher price spikes would require material and prolonged physical supply disruption. https://lnkd.in/eBsaN-dC

Earlier today, enCore Energy Corp. (EU) reported its financial and operational results for the FY/2025 period. Highlighted by the extraction of nearly 700,000 lbs U3O8 largely from Alta Mesa, further production increases are expected from South Texas as construction activities related to the Upper Spring Creek Satellite facility (located within enCore's South Texas ISR hub) continues to advance. - Looking ahead, the next leg of growth is finally worth highlighting as work at Dewey Burdock continues to advance with permitting activities on-going. Construction activities at Dewey Burdock are expected to commence within the next 18 months. - Underpinned by a $100 per lb LT price forecast, we maintain our 1.20x NAV8% multiple which equates to a price objective of $3.55 per share, or upside of +85% from the most recent close. Shares of enCore energy currently trade at a 0.65x discount to NAV. ****Not investment advice, just opinion, observation & analysis. NEW: Occidental Petroleum is in talks to sell its OxyChem division in a deal expected to be worth about $10bn that would carve out one of the world’s largest standalone petrochemicals units. The Houston-based company, which is backed by Warren Buffett, has been steadily divesting assets in recent years in an effort to reduce its heavy debt load, which now stands at $24bn. Occidental is working with advisers on the sale process. The divestment, which would be Occidental’s biggest to date, was likely to be announced in the coming weeks, provided it does not hit any last-minute hurdles. Occidental’s OxyChem division generated almost $5bn in revenues in the 12 months to the end of June. Occidental’s market capitalisation stood at nearly $47bn at Friday’s close. The identity of the buyer could not immediately be established. It was possible that the sale could still fall apart. Occidental is grappling with a large debt burden, a legacy of its $55bn acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in 2019 and its $13bn acquisition of shale oil producer CrownRock in 2023. 📈 TXOGA Monthly Energy Economics Review – November 2025 TXOGA’s Monthly Energy Economics Review (MEER) delivers timely, data-driven insights on Texas’ oil and natural gas industry—filling critical gaps in public data to provide a comprehensive view of production, trade, and consumption. In October, Texas oil and natural gas production remained near record highs, underscoring the state’s continued leadership in U.S. energy supply. TXOGA estimates for October 2025: • Crude oil: 5.9 million barrels per day (mb/d) • Marketed natural gas: 36.5 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d) • Natural gas liquids (NGLs): 4.3 mb/d Year-to-date, Texas has supplied 42.8% of U.S. crude oil and 29.5% of marketed natural gas production. 🔹 New milestones confirmed by August 2025 EIA data • Record highs for gross natural gas (38.0 bcf/d), marketed gas (35.4 bcf/d), and NGLs (4.3 mb/d). 🔹 Natural gas flows and trade • Texas produced 28.5 bcf/d of dry gas in August 2025, consuming 15.8 bcf/d in-state—driven by industrial use and power generation. • Exports totaled 11.4 bcf/d, including 9.0 bcf/d as LNG (54% shipped to Europe) and 2.4 bcf/d via pipeline to Mexico. • The most recent trade data (July 2025) show $17.3 billion in Texas energy exports, down 12.2% year-over-year. 🔹 ERCOT reliability and generation mix • In October, thermal generation met up to 93.6% of hourly demand, including 69.5% from natural gas. • Twelve new natural-gas-fired projects are permitted, though only two currently report firm capacity (19.8 MW total). Together, these data reaffirm Texas’ position as the cornerstone of U.S. energy production and reliability. In the volatile landscape of early 2025, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil demonstrates remarkable resilience, steadfastly holding above the critical $65.00 per barrel threshold. This price stability, however, masks a turbulent undercurrent of escalating geopolitical conflicts that continue to threaten global energy supply chains and market equilibrium. ##Markets #commodities #Energy #Geopolitics #Oil

Growth story… or execution risk in disguise? Vision Oil And Gas (OTC: $AZRH) is making a bold move beyond its Permian stronghold and the market should be paying attention. The acquisition of Anadarko Basin, LLC assets isn’t just another deal. It’s a strategic pivot towards geographic diversification and production scale. 320 gas wells. 114 oil wells. 14 acquisitions in under a year. That’s not expansion, that’s acceleration. Here’s where it gets interesting 👇 Over 90% of the Anadarko wells were previously shut-in. Now, management is betting on operational turnaround + capital efficiency to unlock value. If successful: ➡️ Gas production could reach 10,000–15,000 MCFE/day ➡️ Permian output could jump from 35 BOPD to 150–200 BOPD ➡️ Target: 1,000 BOPD by October 2026 Ambitious? Absolutely. Achievable? That’s where execution risk comes in. This is a classic energy sector growth strategy: Acquire underperforming assets Optimise operations Scale production Align with capital markets (uplisting + potential dual listing) But here’s the catch 👇 Revenue guidance of $14.2M is tied to NYMEX pricing and assumes smooth reactivation. Add in geopolitical volatility (hello oil price swings), and the margin for error narrows fast. Insight Finance News view: This is a high-upside, high-execution story. Vision Oil & Gas isn’t just buying assets, it’s buying complexity, operational risk, and timing pressure. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/djGNfu4e So the real question is: Is this a smart consolidation play ahead of a market re-rating… Or an overextension in a volatile commodity cycle? What’s your take on this Anadarko Basin acquisition strategy? Would you back aggressive scaling in today’s energy market, or wait for proof of execution? Let’s discuss #EnergyMarkets #OilAndGas #GrowthStrategy #EnergyTransition #Investing
