Dan Rizzo shared thisHad the privilege of speaking at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship last week, sharing the Draiver journey and talking through the realities of scaling a logistics startup, building trust with enterprise customers, and navigating an acquisition. The group of MBA students I met with was incredibly smart, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. Their curiosity around AI, mobility, and real-world operations made the conversation even better. Huge thank you to my friend and former colleague Nestor Esquivel de la Garza for the invitation and for continuing to champion meaningful conversations about entrepreneurship and leadership. Always great to reconnect. Grateful for the opportunity and energized by the next generation of builders coming out of MIT.

I still remember our first vehicle move back in 2023, with too many doubts on how a vehicle logistics gig-platform would work in a country like Mexico. Now, after hundreds of thousands of vehicles moved nationwide, I've decided to take on new challenges. I want to thank Armando Flores, Federico Ranero, Dan Rizzo, Paulo Ferrato for the opportunity of building MX operations with them and for the empowerment they gave me to challenge myself and the market to scale DRAIVER. The learnings I take from working with each one of them are priceless. I am sure with their leadership DRAIVER will continue its road to the next level of revolutionizing vehicle logistics. I also want to thank my team Uriel Vargas Sánchez, Juan Daniel Santiago, Camila Flores, Cristian Arizmendi, José Manuel Durán for their incredible work, loyalty and effort. Without them, DRAIVER MX wouldn't be where it is now. The stories and learnings are endless, I am very gratefull with this chapter in my career and for sure will remember it for the rest of it.

Dan Rizzo reacted on thisDan Rizzo reacted on thisIt’s been an incredible couple of weeks since the MIT $100K Accelerate Finals! Thrilled to share a quick update: ANGY took home the Audience Choice Award. Being selected as one of 9 teams out of more than 100 applicants was already a meaningful milestone for us. More importantly, the experience did what it was supposed to do. It applied pressure. Pitching in front of a demanding technical and investment ecosystem forces you to sharpen your thesis, stress-test your assumptions, and defend how Angy addresses a structural problem. I see this as a signal that the problem we are working on is real, and that we are on the right path to the healthcare redesign needed for Mexico and the region. Healthcare is a long-term game. We are just in the first 10 meters. Most importantly, I’m proud of the team Atahan Afsar & Carolina Orozco Romo. Another sprint with disciplined execution. Now we’re back to building.
