Cynthia Hunt, CPA, MBA liked thisCynthia Hunt, CPA, MBA liked thisThis weekend, I filled Matt Klapper's office with 25,000 balls. It was for a good cause, I promise. Every year, Jenner & Block's DC office raises money for Legal Aid DC. We are highly competitive, and I view it as my obligation to help us give more than other firms. But a matching incentive is no fun, so I tend to be a little more creative. One year, I said that if everyone gave enough, I would wear a pink velour tracksuit to the office (We did. I did). This year, we needed to up our game -- and I figured, why not raise money for a deserving organization while ALSO getting payback at Matt Klapper for the April Fools Day prank he pulled on the office? Enter Project Ball Pit. Last year, we raised about $54,000 for Legal Aid DC through individual donations by our colleagues. This year, I said that if we exceeded that number, I would personally turn Matt Klapper's office into a ball pit. Yes, his office is quite large. Yes, it would take a LOT of balls to pull it off. But would it be worth it? Yes. Yes it would. Well, my Jenner colleagues did their part, led by the associates who spearheaded this year's Make Justice Real campaign, Rachel Palermo, Eleanor Slota and Michael Brady and Legal Aid DC board member Emily Loeb. We didn't just meet the goal. We raised $73,820 -- a record for our office and good enough to place us in the top 3 for offices of between 125-174 attorneys (and we're on the smaller half of that range). And so, this weekend, while other families were out enjoying the beautiful DC weather, mine was at the office, converting a dear collague's impeccable place of business into a child's ball pit fever dream. Thank you Jenner colleagues for your generosity, and thank you Matt Klapper for being a good sport. Legal Aid DC accepts donations year-round and helps provide incredible lawyers to members of our community who otherwise could not afford them. PS -- If anyone on LinkedIn has a need for 25,000 balls (plus about 50 beach balls), my DMs are open.

Cynthia Hunt, CPA, MBA liked thisAs we close out another fiscal year, I find myself incredibly excited about what’s ahead for Girl Scouts in 2027. I’ve had the privilege of working on some amazing corporate partnerships that are more than sponsorships they are opportunities to build meaningful, long-term connections between companies and the Girl Scout community. The most successful partnerships are co-created. They bring together a company’s goals, expertise and resources with the needs and interests of girls. And because the Girl Scout brand is trusted by families and communities, that alignment becomes a valuable asset for our partners. The impact goes far beyond one program or event. Partnership funding can help bring a specific experience to life while also supporting the many other incredible opportunities Girl Scouts provide from STEM and leadership to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, outdoor experiences and so much more. It can also help ensure that girls who may face financial barriers still have the opportunity to participate. As I look toward 2027, I’m looking for companies and organizations that want to build something lasting. Partners who want to create experiences girls look forward to every year. Partners who want to invest in the next generation of leaders. Partners who want to be part of the Girl Scout story not just for one year, but for years to come. If your organization is looking for a meaningful, long-term partnership in 2027, I’d love to connect and explore what we can create together. Let’s grab coffee and go from there. Reach out, I’m ready!

Cynthia Hunt, CPA, MBA liked thisCynthia Hunt, CPA, MBA liked thisToday, I can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than with a new website. The new website represents a shift. Now, instead of dozens of individual product pages, the site is built around outcomes and around you — your role, your location, your institution type — so you get to what's relevant faster. If you work in banking, lending, or decision intelligence, I invite you to come have a look around. 👉 curinos.com A HUGE thank you to the team who carried this initiative over the line — in particular our marketers: Hayley Spalding, Courtney Berman, and Shannon Mellinger, who have driven the strategy, the web build, and the creative that makes this site look and feel like Curinos. It's been a long road from the brand relaunch to today's website launch. We continue to build momentum for the business. Special thanks to Eric Freeman, Jim Voros, Ryan McClung, Henry Mora, and Mike Thompson from our Curinos IT and Infrastructure & Security teams for handling the DNS cut-over and staging so smoothly — coordinating a 9am go-live across three time zones with our agencies Midnight and Rival takes real effort, and we appreciate your support and collaboration. Thanks, also, to our marketing champions — Sid Singh, Sarah Welch, Kevin Travis, Pete Gilchrist, Olly Downs, Hayley Spalding, and Mike Jiwani — for the steer and support behind the scenes.Curinos: Decision Intelligence for Financial InstitutionsCurinos: Decision Intelligence for Financial Institutions
