Cynthia Wagner, MBA reacted on thisCynthia Wagner, MBA reacted on thisLSU student and NASCAR NEXT intern Camilla Bowens-Wilkins designed the first-ever Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.-branded NASCAR show car, which debuted at the sorority’s 2026 South Atlantic Regional Conference in Charlotte. A member of Delta herself, Bowens-Wilkins incorporated the sorority’s signature crimson and cream colors and its public motto, “Intelligence is the Torch of Wisdom,” into the design. The project highlights how internships, mentorship, and culturally relevant partnerships can create real opportunities for young Black talent in industries where representation still matters. Her Minds of the Future Academy is now a fully accredited, tuition-free private K-12 STEM school offering students hands-on opportunities in coding, robotics, AI, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, media production, skilled trades and more. Students can also earn certifications designed to help them enter the workforce immediately after graduation. What began as a preschool in 2016 has grown into a 28,000-square-foot campus with STEM labs, a makerspace, media facilities and programming built to prepare the next generation for college, careers and entrepreneurship. This past weekend, LaSante Health Center partnered with Community School District 17 for a day dedicated to health, wellness, and empowerment right here in Brooklyn. From health screenings and wellness talks to community resources, giveaways, and meaningful conversations, the goal was simple: connect people to the care and support they need in a welcoming, accessible way. The best part of this work is seeing neighbors show up for one another, families engage with resources they may not have known existed, and community partners come together around a shared mission. What looks seamless on event day is the result of strong relationships, intentional planning, and a lot of behind-the-scenes coordination—but creating spaces where people feel informed, supported, and seen makes every detail worth it. Grateful to Community School District 17, our partners, vendors, and everyone who stopped by and helped make the day such a success. Cynthia Wagner, MBA reacted on thisCynthia Wagner, MBA reacted on this🎉 Last week, I had the privilege of hosting Edward Jones' inaugural community service event with Wall Street Bound, Inc, a nonprofit dedicated to creating greater access and opportunity for the next generation of finance professionals. 📚 It was exciting to bring colleagues together to learn about the organization's mission, history, and volunteer opportunities directly from its founder, Troy Prince, CAIA, as well as alumni and current mentors. 💛 One of the things I value most about Edward Jones is our belief that our impact extends beyond the workplace—we're committed to helping build stronger communities wherever we live and work. As someone based in NYC, I'm proud to put those values into action by growing our community presence here and making a positive impact. 🚀 Launching our relationship with Wall Street Bound and welcoming them as one of our community partners was incredibly rewarding. Looking forward to what's ahead!

Economic Empowerment
Serving as chair was the best decision I ever made for myself. I served in a leadership role for over 2 years and I have met some wonderful people and learned more about becoming a better leader.
While I was there I created the events, The Mentorship Workshop and Building a Business Expo. I assisted with the third year of The Think Tank which had over 400 people to register!
