The team has evolved, new leaders have stepped up, and we have remained focused on building a culture of accountability, positivity, and growth. Today, I had the opportunity to spend time in New Buffalo with Sarah, our newest GM, and Chris, alongside Matthew Hughes . We were also fortunate to have Joe, our intern from Michigan State, join us and experience the hospitality industry firsthand. I'm grateful for the partnership between AHM and 6PM Hospitality Partners LLC. Together, we have built a stronger organization, expanded our capabilities, and created opportunities that neither company could have achieved alone. AHM looks very different today than it did two years ago, and I'm excited about where we're headed next. The future is bright!!

Chris Johnson liked thisChris Johnson liked thisToday, a guest riding her bike on the river trail had an unfortunate fall near our hotel. Her friend brought her into the hotel so she could rest while going to get her car to pick them both up along with the bike. The guest had injured her wrist and bruised her leg. My team and I quickly stepped in to ensure her comfort. We provided her with water, ice for her wrist, and checked on her regularly while she waited. She expressed surprise at how we went out of our way to make her feel comfortable and welcome. I simply replied, "You came into a Hampton Inn, and this is what we do. We make everyone feel welcome." Moments like this remind me why I love this business. I'm grateful we could help someone when they needed it most and make their day a little better. Today, I truly feel like we made a positive difference in the world. We also got her permission to share this story!
