Nicolas A Perez shared thisI have been on vacation for 2 weeks now and one more to go. Exploring Hong Kong 🇭🇰, Tokyo 🇯🇵, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima. This trip has been amazingly rewarding for me, and I have been working on a compiler for my nik language, hopefully will be releasing it soon.

Nicolas A Perez liked thisNicolas A Perez liked thisA partir del 1ro de abril asumo el rol de Director General de Google Argentina 🇦🇷, una noticia que me llena de orgullo e ilusión. Este paso llega tras seis años increíbles en Google, liderando las divisiones de Retail y Tecnología en México. Pero para explicar lo que este nuevo rol significa para mí, debo volver a mis 19 años, cuando dejé Bogotá con un solo sueño: ser jugador de fútbol profesional. Esta pasión me llevó a una beca universitaria en EE.UU. y me enseñó las lecciones más valiosas de mi carrera: en la cancha —como en los negocios— el éxito es resiliencia, estrategia, ejecución y equipo. Llego a liderar Google Argentina en un momento mágico, en el que Gemini es el Main Sponsor de la Selección Nacional. Para aquel chico que soñaba con la gloria del fútbol, no hay mayor honor que "liderar" este equipo de Google Argentina. Mi objetivo será potenciar el talento y energía únicos de los argentinos - esa capacidad de innovar ante cualquier contexto- transformando la tecnología en una herramienta igualadora de oportunidades que acelere el crecimiento de cada persona y negocio en el país. Me sumo a un equipo humano que admiro para que juguemos con la mística de los campeones: con humildad, excelencia técnica y la convicción de que juntos, no hay meta que nos quede grande. Gracias Adriana Noreña y Sean Downey por la confianza para liderar esta nueva etapa, a Vicky Fernández, quien estuvo al frente de la operación local durante esta transición, a Julian Coulter y Sebastian Valverde por su liderazgo durante mi paso por Google México y a todos los que me acompañaron en el camino. ¡Vamos por todo!

Hoy, con una sonrisa gigante y la emoción a tope, les comparto que ese sueño ya es una realidad. Hoy inicio un nuevo camino en Google. Llego con muchísima felicidad, expectativas y alegría, pero también muy consciente de la responsabilidad que implica. Mi amor por la tecnología y mi compromiso están al 100% para afrontar un reto de este tamaño. No llego sola, gracias a Dios por poner esto en mi camino, Marcus por tu compañía, guia y buena onda en este proceso y confiar en mi perfil. Y gracias a cada una de las persona que han aportado a mi crecimiento, que han confiando y creído en mi. Seguir aprendiendo, tiene mucho más sentido cuando estoy rodeada de gente que me impulsa a ser cada día mejor profesional y ser humano. ¡Le echaré muchísimas ganas, dispuesta a gozarme cada paso, daré lo mejor de mí en esta nueva aventura!
