I know I run core tech bootcamps, but let’s be real, not everyone will be a techie or work in tech. And that’s okay. You don’t have to punish yourself just because tech is trending or because everyone around you is talking about coding, cybersecurity, or data analytics. If learning tech makes you frustrated, unhappy, or even depressed, you probably won’t complete that journey. And trust me, forcing it won’t magically make you love it. Instead of dropping what you actually love to chase something just because of peer pressure, why not learn how to use tech to amplify what you're already good at? If you love fashion, you don’t have to code an app, learn how to use AI tools like Clo3D, Canva AI, or Midjourney to create stunning outfits patterns and designs, or how to use digital marketing to rightly position yourself on platforms where those who need your services would find you. If you’re passionate about teaching, don’t force yourself into software engineering, use AI tools to make your lessons more engaging. If you enjoy running a business, you don’t need to become a data analyst, just learn how to use analytics tools like Excel spreadsheet or Google sheet to track your sales and improve marketing. This is exactly why, in our Data Analytics bootcamp and other tech training programs, we don’t just teach our students tech skills, we show them how to use these skills and tools in their existing careers. Instead of pushing them to chase core tech roles, we help them integrate tech into what they already do. Tech isn’t just about coding; it’s a tool to push what you’re already doing and make it big. Is anyone else noticing the flood of outdated Angular posts lately? I’m a big advocate for using AI to help structure and draft content. In fact, I use it myself for my posts. But there is a massive difference between using AI to assist your writing and blindly hitting "generate" without verifying the output. We are in the model Angular era. Yet, my feed is full of "new" tutorials heavily leaning on things like NgModules, *ngIf, *ngFor or patterns the framework has been moving away from. I even saw a post recently unironically talking about AngularJS. Yes, you read that right. AngularJS in 2026! AI is a fantastic co-pilot, but you still have to know how to fly the plane. If you don’t actually understand what you’re posting, you might win the algorithm for a day, but you lose credibility long-term. Quality > Quantity. Always double-check your generated content. Use AI to amplify your knowledge, not to mask a lack of it. #Angular #WebDevelopment #AI #TechCommunity #TypeScript

#Accessibility wins need to be celebrated. More. Full stop. I'm working through Marcy Sutton Todd's "Web App Accessibility (feat. React)" course on Frontend Masters, and I love that she took the time right at the start to call out the burnout many accessibility professionals experience. My LinkedIn feed is often full of posts highlighting the gaps, the difficulties, the exhaustion from a never-ending what-feels-like battle. The issues do need to be brought up; we do need awareness for the holes in what we're building, what people are currently using. But if we don't also celebrate those times where things did get fixed, where experiences were improved, we run the risk of our target audience for change becoming discouraged. I have a background in behavior science, and positive reinforcement is a very real, very powerful force for good in this world. Confirmation bias is also real and can be used to our advantage to further our goals of improving the lived experience for people with disabilities (and all users). All this to say: show more wins!! 🎉 Even tiny ones. Even if there is still more to do. Because it's about progress. About showing evidence of good things happening. It's about stirring inspiration (though I know that's a loaded word in the disability community). I know that I feel excited when I see those celebrations. I get inspired to go find something small that I can do, right away.
