Aleksander Bello liked thisAleksander Bello liked thisAfter 13 incredible years at Apple, it’s hard to put into words just how grateful I feel as I say goodbye. Over the years, I had the opportunity to contribute across Apple platforms and services, including Apple Music, Podcasts, the App Store, TV+ helping build experiences that reached hundreds of millions of people around the world. I’m proud of what we built together. But what I’ll carry with me most is the people. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the smartest, most thoughtful, and genuinely caring people I’ve ever met—people who cared deeply about the details, challenged each other about doing the right thing, and showed up for one another through life’s hardest moments and most meaningful milestones. Many colleagues became true friends along the way. One of the things I’ve learned throughout the years at Apple is this: when in doubt, do the right thing. That’s something I’ll continue to carry with me wherever I go. Next, I’ll be spending time with my family in Kosovo and Albania, and I’m excited for the experiences, opportunities, and connections that lie ahead.

But as the company pivoted from SMB commerce and payments toward a social media direction, it became clear that my background was no longer needed for where the company was heading. Leaving wasn’t easy. But looking back, it was the right call. Especially when I now use their new and very cool Telegram Portal AI claw agent. Wishing the team continued success, especially Mike Kovetskyi , Hamudi Naanaa and Volodymyr Panchenko Shortly after, I joined GoFundMe . For me, it felt like the right moment to start giving back. I still can’t believe how much I’ve been able to achieve in life considering where I come from. Huge thanks to: Janahan Vivekanandan Michal Russ Arnie Katz Vincent Sloan and Kim Wilford, J.D. . GoFundMe’s mission is simple and powerful: help people help each other, especially during some of the hardest and most vulnerable moments of their lives. Agentic systems and generative media are reshaping how products are built, while also challenging many of the trust and security systems we’ve relied on for years. Aleksander Bello liked thisAleksander Bello liked thisEnd-of-Year Reflections and Gratitude Four years ago, I made the decision to leave Europe and start a new chapter, both personally and professionally, in the United States. Looking back, I am deeply grateful for the journey so far: the people I’ve met, the colleagues I’ve learned from, the friendships built, and the challenges that ultimately shaped me and made me stronger. This year marked an important professional milestone with my transition into the renewables industry, joining NextEra Energy, Inc. within Supply Chain Strategy & Growth – Special Projects. Being part of an organization operating at the forefront of clean energy and large-scale innovation has been both humbling and energizing. I’m also thankful to Florida Atlantic Executive Education for the opportunity to contribute as a coordinator for the Executive PhD program. Collaborating with senior executives, exceptional professionals who are equally impressive as people, has been a truly rewarding experience. As the year comes to a close, I’m entering 2026 with gratitude, optimism, and a strong motivation to keep learning, growing, and taking on new challenges. I always welcome conversations with professionals who are passionate about leadership, strategy, innovation, and the energy transition. Aleksander Bello liked thisAleksander Bello liked thisAfter nearly a year on sabbatical, I'm excited to be diving back into work! Taking a long career break is a total privilege, and I really experienced that this year. I did everything from: - Taking each kid on a separate 1:1 trip (absolute highlight & something I'll keep doing) - Doing a 6-day solo hike in Northern England (like I normally do, I did zero advance research and this turned out to be more Type 2 fun than Type 1) - Starting Pilates, getting pretty good at Pilates, stopping Pilates, being terrible at Pilates again - Spending time with my parents and family scattered around the country - Making and eating a lot of pizza (to counter the Pilates of course) There are many more daydreams on my list, which I'll save for my next sabbatical 🙂 And on the work front, I'm excited to join Anthropic as Head of Product! Before I joined, I could feel Anthropic's stance of being kind, generous, and pro-human from using the products. Now that I've been hanging out with the team for a while, I've been delighted to see how deeply the mission motivates everything the company does. We have a chance to help shape how people interact with responsible AI that makes their lives easier, and I’m excited to be part of it. Thank you to Mike Krieger and the entire team for being so welcoming. Excited for what's next!
