Dhar Mann and I are speaking at Tribeca X in June. For years, Tribeca has been where independent film meets the cultural conversation and now they're bringing creators into that same space. We'll be talking about how Dhar Mann Studios is building a new model of entertainment, one built around direct audience relationships, uplifting content, and partnerships that actually work for both sides. The lineup is stacked: Ted Danson, Cedric the Entertainer, the writers behind Netflix's most-watched film ever, the CEOs of the WNBA and NY Liberty, and creators like Michelle Khare who've turned channels into full production companies. What I find most interesting about this moment is that the same festival that launched indie film careers is now recognizing that creator-led studios belong in the same conversation. That's not a small shift. That's the industry catching up to where audiences already are. See you in New York, June 8-9! #Tribeca2026

After taking home a Tribeca X Award for “It Was Written,” the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 2023 schedule release video that playfully leans into the idea that the National Football League (NFL) is scripted, Asher Grodman has seen firsthand what the Festival can unlock: recognition, connection, and momentum. The Tribeca X Awards honor narrative work across film, series, podcast, commercials, and creator-led content produced in partnership with brands. It’s home for stories made possible by brands and powered by artists. Have a brand-supported project ready to share? Submit before the April 8 deadline across all categories: https://lnkd.in/gCHe4zcA

Great to join Cedric the Entertainer on Bloomberg's The Close with Romaine Bostick, CFA to preview the 2026 Tribeca X lineup. Watch the segment here: https://lnkd.in/emqk9ncS. As we mark 25 years of the Tribeca Festival and 10 years of Tribeca X, it’s clear how much storytelling has evolved. Brands are no longer just advertisers — they’re investing in creators, original IP, and content that shapes culture and drives impact. That’s what Tribeca X is built for: connecting filmmakers, creators, brands, and business leaders to explore where storytelling is headed next. This year’s lineup includes voices like Cedric the Entertainer, Ted Danson, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham (Cloud23), Dhar Mann, Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson, CMO of American Express Elizabeth Rutledge, and K-Pop Demon Hunters Writers Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMechan, among others shaping the future of culture, business, and entertainment. Tribeca X takes place June 8–9 in New York City during the Festival. Learn more and submit for the Tribeca X Awards (deadline April 8): https://lnkd.in/evMeAV-m.

I’m excited to share that the Tribeca Festival is partnering with Vulture to bring Vulture Festival back to New York City as part of the 25th Tribeca Festival this June. Launching this year, Vulture Festival at Tribeca Festival will create a new hub for marquee panels, interviews, and performances celebrating the creators and fandoms shaping film, television, comedy, and pop culture today. This collaboration brings together two New York cultural institutions that share a deep belief in the power of storytelling and audience connection. It also marks Vulture Festival’s return to New York for the first time since 2019, making it an especially meaningful addition as Tribeca celebrates its 25th anniversary. A big thank you to Neil Janowitz and the entire team at Vulture for their partnership and collaboration in bringing this to life. For 25 years, Tribeca has been a place where artists and storytellers meet audiences eager to discover what’s next. Partnering with Vulture allows us to expand that spirit of discovery and create even more opportunities for fans and creators to connect in real life. Looking forward to sharing more details soon — and to welcoming everyone to New York for the 2026 Tribeca Festival, June 3–14. Read more in Vulture's announcement here: https://lnkd.in/e2apD-cE

Tribeca X traveled to The London Book Fair for a panel on the business of book-to-screen and IP adaptations. Tribeca EVP of Artist Relations Nancy Lefkowitz joined Dan Conway (CEO, The Publishers Association), Holly Tonks (HarperCollins Publishers UK), Naomi Colthurst (Penguin Random House), Natalie Christopher (Hachette UK), and Alice Pearse (Netflix UK) to explore the commercial benefits of adapting high-quality source material for screen. “Like our Festival, MediaScout is a treasure trove of discovery for independent storytellers.” — Nancy Lefkowitz, EVP Artist Relations, Tribeca Enterprises The panel highlighted MediaScout, Ingram Content Group's database built to connect film and television industry pros with authors and publishers to facilitate book-to-screen adaptations. With support from Tribeca X, MediaScout also introduces a new pathway for filmmakers, writers, and creative executives to evaluate brand IP (mascots, characters, product worlds) with the same creative rigor they apply to literary properties. Learn more about how MediaScout is driving the future of literary adaptations here: https://lnkd.in/eCYw7mYZ Get in on conversations like these at the Tribeca X Summit June 8-9, 2026 at the Tribeca Festival Hub at Spring Studios in NYC.
