The best roundtables happen at 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 round tables. One topic we explored last night at our angel investing roundtable was investing in companies started by current and former coworkers. Around the table were folks who’ve built at companies like Applied Intuition, OpenAI, Together AI, Anthropic, Rippling, Airbnb, and Scale AI. Main diligence question: would I join them (or tell a friend to)? Huge thanks to Alexandra (Fowler) Loomes at Bullpen Capital for partnering with us on this event.

We recently hosted the inaugural Sapienne Spark kickoff — an evening of career panels and speed-dating connecting exceptional early-career women in AI with those a few years ahead. ✨ The energy in the room was something special. Our panelists shared candid insights: frameworks for evaluating early-stage startups (hint: founder conviction matters most!), building skillsets for AI-native companies, and the power of cold outreach in the job search. A huge thank you to our panelists — and to Katherine Zhang, Erin O'Connell and the Lightspeed team for co-hosting such a memorable night. 💜 Grateful for the incredible women who joined us from OpenAI Sierra Mercor Decagon Runway Glean David AI Waymo humans& and more. This is just the beginning. More soon! Andi Peng Heejin Jeong Katie Lewis Grumman Aditi Poduval Joanne Shang Kate Callon Kathy Huang Amy Li Anika Ayyar

Crosby is on a tear, empowering the world's fastest companies to move even faster. Huge congrats to the incredible team delivering Big Law quality at AI speed.
📣 Update: we raised our $60m Series B from Lux Capital, Index Ventures and 01 Advisors, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Elad Gil and Bain Capital Ventures (BCV). When we came out of stealth 283 days ago, we had negotiated contracts worth $30m for our clients. As of last month, that number is over $1 billion. We work with the most ambitious companies in the world, including Ramp, Clay and Rogo. Today, we want you to hear from some of them directly. Contracts are the rails of commerce. Crosby is a hybrid AI law firm that gets them signed 80% faster. We’re announcing our Series B to keep scaling the dream law firm.

At our angel investing brunch this weekend, we kicked things off by each sharing an early-stage company we’d be excited to invest in and why. From there, we dug into: > Assessing startups outside your area of expertise > Value accrual across the AI stack > Breaking into competitive deals > What being “helpful” looks like in practice Takeaway: the best angels operate with a mindset of giving, whether that’s making customer intros, helping with candidate recruiting, or even something as simple as amplifying a launch post. Thank you to Jéssica Leão at Decibel Partners for sharing a wealth of insights, knowledge, and stories with us. 😇 Tina Xia Anubha Srivastava Joanne Shang Alice Qu Athena Kan Kathy Huang Felicitas Binz Jennifer Lin Ally Nakamura

This past Thursday, we hosted a dinner in NYC with founders and operators building AI-native companies to discuss one of the hardest early-stage challenges: go-to-market (GTM) We talked about how AI is changing the GTM playbook, and how teams are using tools like Clay to automate parts of the process while still keeping things personal and human Huge thank you to the Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP team for hosting (Kasey Winshall, Mickala Wallingford) Also, thank you to Christine Lu Hong and Shweta Shrivastava from FemBuild for partnering on the event, and to Tanvi R. for joining us from Clay and sharing your perspective Finally, cheers to the group who joined for a great meal and conversation 💫 Liz Mossessian, Pallavi Jain, Sneha R., Marthe Naudts, Karunya Sethuraman, Clara Wu, Maria Zlatkova, Evelyn Xue, Anna Morales, Samantha Lau, Ellen Kim, Kasey Mann

Grateful to the brilliant founders who joined us at Diptyque last night. Hot topics of discussion: building automations that generate customized daily podcasts and whether AI-generated UGC ads are finally good enough to pass the “taste” test. Huge thanks to Yingjie Wang and Olivia (. at Rippling for partnering with us on this event 🤍

A recurring theme we've seen is the inertia behind building and incorporating robust agents into everyday workflows. Instead of hosting another demo night or high-level tech talk, we went straight to the source and teamed up with Cursor yesterday to build real agents together. Big shoutout to Emily Gavrilenko and the Cursor team for co-hosting and sharing fantastic use cases, from an interactive triathlon training program to a post-meeting action item agent. Grateful for the awesome builders from Airbnb Arphie Bezi Braintrust Clay Corridor Cresta Harvey Mercator.ai Mercor Listen Labs Numeral PushPress Robinhood Runway Scale AI Sierra Together AI Unify and more who came to the event!

Corridor just raised a Series A! Killer team building at the intersection of AI and security and making sure AI-generated code is secure from the start.
Today we’re announcing Corridor's $25M Series A at a $200M valuation, led by Felicis, with participation from Conviction, Timeless, Artisanal Ventures, Lux Capital, Sunflower Capital, Datadog, SV Angel, and leading angels from Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, Cognition, Factory, Lovable, and more. In the AI coding revolution, writing code is no longer the bottleneck: securing it is. We built Corridor to accelerate AI coding within the enterprise – by making sure security happens at the speed of development. Through my time in bug bounties and helping lead Secure by Design at CISA, I saw the same classes of vulnerabilities causing harm again and again. With AI, it’s now possible to turn the corner: Corridor prevents security flaws before they're even written. Don’t take it from us: our customers, like Sublime Security, Pylon, and Omnea, are using Corridor to move faster, and their engineers are our biggest champions. Incredibly grateful to our team, investors, and customers for being part of this journey. We’re building the best team at the intersection of AI and security and expanding our customer base. Join us!
