Great hardware deserves great software.

About us

At Revel, we are building a comprehensive hardware control platform - combining an intuitive command/control interface, a specialized programming language tailored to hardware control, and a high performance runtime environment. Our full-stack approach empowers engineers to write control software up to 10x faster, avoid entire classes of software mistakes, and bring safer, more robust hardware to market on previously impossible timelines.

  • Astro Mechanica is advancing engines, airframes, and systems for a new age of aerospace. As they developed and tested next-generation engine systems, their team relied on a homegrown control platform, one that required specialized knowledge to operate and maintain, and created a dependency on a small number of people. As a result, even simple changes or test iterations often meant waiting on the few engineers closest to the system, slowing down progress for a fast-moving team. Revel replaced parts of that system and had the engine test stand up and running within just one day, integrating directly with their existing environment. “Revel came in, got us up and running quickly, and made it much easier for our operators to own the test stand directly. It gave us a faster, more intuitive way to iterate without relying on homegrown tooling. As we scale, we’re excited to expand our use of Revel to accelerate our testing and development.” — Matthew Perkins, VP of Engineering, Astro Mechanica Swipe to learn more about how Revel helped Astro Mechanica move at the pace of their hardware program and remove friction from their testing and control workflows. • We’re at SATShow Week in DC this week! Stop by booth #1517 for a live demo and see how Revel helps engineering teams move faster across hardware development, testing, and control. Revel is already in use by some of the fastest-moving teams where speed and tight feedback loops aren’t optional. That includes customers building performance-critical systems like rocket engines at Impulse Space, supersonic propulsion at Astro Mechanica, and nuclear reactors at Radiant Nuclear, where we’ve driven 80%+ reductions in time-to-test and 5x+ increases in test cycle rates vs. traditional stacks. Stop by the booth or reach out at sales@revel.io to schedule a live demo during the conference. #SatShowWeek #SATShow2026

I’ll be at SATShow Week in DC next week! Come find me at Booth 1517 for a live demo to see how Revel helps engineering teams accelerate their hardware development, testing, and control. Revel has been adopted by some of the fastest-moving engineering teams where speed and tight feedback loops are non-negotiable. This includes customers building performance-critical hardware like rocket engines at Impulse Space, supersonic propulsion at Astro Mechanica and nuclear reactors at Radiant Nuclear, where we’ve delivered 80%+ reductions in time-to-test and >5x test cycle-rate gains vs traditional test and control stacks. Want to schedule a demo or find a time to connect at SatShow Week? Reach out to sales@revel.io. Looking forward to seeing you there!

  • Congratulations to our customer Aalo Atomics on standing up their sodium test loop. We're proud to have supported this meaningful milestone in the advancement of nuclear energy. Watch their video below to see Revel in action during the test.

Introducing our Sodium Test Loop -- a coolant testing platform now online. By pumping thousands of pounds of liquid sodium, we are validating coolant systems, testing materials performance, and building operational muscle. America's sodium reactor program built three generations of sodium reactors at Experimental Breeder Reactor-1 (EBR-I), Experimental Breeder Reactor-1 (EBR-II), and Fast-Flux Test Facility (FFTF). But EBR-II shut down in 1994, and FFTF in 1992. For over thirty years, no organization in the U.S., public or private, has run a sodium reactor. Aalo Atomics is reviving that legacy - and making fast work to bring sodium engineering expertise in-house. By going critical this summer, we are de-risking the nuclear core components in our power plant. With the Sodium Test Loop, and our full-scale non-nuclear system currently being fabricated, we are de-risking the balance of plant. Together, this will bring Aalo to the commercial markets faster than most people in the nuclear industry thought possible. Aalo was founded less than three years ago, but our work on sodium reactors carries the legacy of generations of great engineers in America.
