    Today, we are thrilled to announce a major expansion of our strategic alliance with Microsoft. Building on our role in supplying American-assembled solar panels and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, we are directly addressing one of the biggest challenges of the AI era: adding massive computing capacity without shifting the energy burden onto local communities. Under a proposed “bring-your-own-capacity” model, Qcells would develop generation and flexible energy resources that could serve Microsoft or the local utility in areas where AI expansion is happening. The companies are also exploring Virtual Power Plants that install and aggregate thousands of residential and commercial batteries into one coordinated grid resource, prioritizing participation from income-qualified households to ensure the economic benefits of AI infrastructure extend directly into the surrounding communities. This initiative aims to ease peak utility demand, as well as stabilize the gridand energy bills. "As AI transforms the economy, we have an opportunity to rethink how the energy infrastructure supporting it is built.
