  • During the winter storm that impacted the Mid-South last month, Memphis Care Center teams showed commitment and flexibility in adapting to the icy conditions. Five team members — Alexis Turner, Brittany Mahle, Zaria Brazier, Savannah Klein, and Shania Smith — stepped forward and chose to stay at their Pet Center for a few days to avoid icy roads and make sure pets continued receiving care without interruption. Leaders and teammates also helped out by providing food, supplies, games, transportation, shift coverage, and more. Meanwhile, Animal Emergency Center Emergency Center (AEC) expanded into daytime hours and one team member, Meghan Watson, stay overnight. It warms our hearts to see how this team rallied together to support each other and keep pets cared for. #VetMed #OnePetVet
