Nobody dreams about the bus. They dream about the job interview it gets them to. The first day of class. The doctor’s appointment they almost couldn’t make. The Saturday on the trail with their kids. That’s the thing about transit, it’s never really about transit. It’s about everything on the other side of the ride. So when the Agency for Community Transit selected (amp), Leap Group’s media & search agency, to lead their first-ever campaign for Madison County Transit, we didn’t just see this as a media buy. We saw this as a chance to tell their story, especially for a system that connects an entire county through fixed routes, paratransit, and one of the most impressive trail networks in the Midwest. And here’s what makes this opportunity exciting: No incumbent. No previous campaign. No “this is how it’s always been done.” We get to build this from mile one. With that, Madison County, we can’t wait to show you what’s already in your own backyard! #PublicTransit #MediaStrategy #MadisonCounty #CommunityFirst

  • Every agency is getting asked the same question right now: what's your AI strategy? Most answers fall into one of two camps. Either AI is going to replace creative work, or it's a gimmick to avoid. We don't buy either. Our take is simpler: AI is a tool that amplifies our creativity. We use it when it makes the work better, not because it's the trend. Human judgment, taste, and creativity stay at the center. The idea dictates the technology, not the other way around. We put our full point of view in writing, including the questions clients actually ask us: how we avoid the "AI sameness" everywhere, how we protect brands from likeness and IP issues, and where AI has no business in the process. Proud of the work our team at Leap Group has been delivering in partnership with The Duckhorn Portfolio as they celebrate an incredible 50 years. One of my favorite parts of this project was helping direct an animated story that brings to life the rich history of one of Napa Valley's most iconic vineyards, Three Palms. Congratulations to the entire Duckhorn team on this milestone, and thank you for being such a valued partner. We're honored to help tell these stories and look forward to sharing more. 🎥 Watch the origin story of the legendary Three Palms Vineyard here: https://lnkd.in/g_iiRWCm

  • Most brands say they want a strategic partner, but how they actually manage agencies tells a different story: 61% of brands want agencies to bring fresh ideas, but only 20% of agencies believe that's actually what brands want. That gap says a lot. We asked our CEO Alan Gilleo to weigh in on where relationships break down, what brands are leaving on the table, and what it looks like when the partnership actually works. • A few weeks ago, in honor of festival season kicking off, we took a slack survey of our employee's "dream festival headliner." We took those top results and made our own dream "LeapChella" lineup. Let us know what you think! Are you copping tickets for this festival?

Last week, John Rivers III and I had the pleasure of attending the 22nd Annual Joint Utility Reception representing Leap Group & (spark) as a certified diversity supplier. It was an energizing evening connecting with Louisville’s utility leaders and witnessing firsthand their commitment to investing in local and diverse partners who help move our city forward. Over the past year, I’ve been focused on building meaningful partnerships with the City of Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky, using our work not just to deliver results, but to contribute to the strength and growth of the community we get to call home. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue building these relationships and creating a lasting impact in our community!

  • The affiliate model is broken. Influencer fees are out of control, and your brand ambassador might be one scandal away from a PR crisis. The traditional partnership playbook still has a pulse, but it's showing its limits: Thin margins, fake followers, fraud, and the very real risk of tying your brand to the wrong person at the wrong time. In our newest white paper, The Future of Affiliates, Influencers & Ambassadors, we make the case for rethinking all three from the ground up — and show what leading brands are already doing instead. What's inside: - Why affiliates are better used as flash sales tools than perpetual discount machines - How micro-influencers are becoming the new product testing labs - Why the smartest ambassador plays are now about content franchises, not celebrity deals - The quiet rise of brand placement and why it's one of the most organic impressions you can buy The lines between advertising and entertainment are blurring. This report is for the marketers and strategists who want to be on the right side of that shift. 👉 Download the full report: https://bit.ly/4d4QGFP

Late to bringing the news to LinkedIn, but I have to highlight the completion of last year's labor of love (+sweat +tears). One of my big goals since being appointed Public Information Officer at Cheltenham Township was to unify the Township under one brand identity - a shared logo, color codes, fonts. A brand is the image of an entity - over time, it evokes a unique feel, a familiarity. It verifies an organization's authenticity. I am so proud that with the partnership of Leap Group, I was able to achieve this goal in 2025, and I think we walked away with better than we could have expected! We were able to kick off 2026 implementing the new brand - a dynamic suite of logos and a vibrant palette to go with the new tagline "Rich History. Vibrant Future." We're even going to launch an apparel store this spring - I can't wait! https://lnkd.in/eRPiRSNr

Small Town Living. Community Driven! I'm thrilled to share that Leap Group was selected by the City of Macomb to lead their citywide marketing initiative, and I couldn't be more proud of the team that made it happen. 🎉 Our team recently went to Macomb. Walked the Square. Talked to residents, business owners, and city stakeholders. Because you can't tell a city's story until you understand it. What we found? A place that's harder to define than it is to love. Macomb, IL is a small Midwest town with a genuinely unique footprint. It's the birthplace of Monopoly (yes, really), home to civil rights trailblazer C.T. Vivian, has an historic downtown Square full of hyper-local businesses, and a community where people still actually know their neighbors. It's not Chicago. It's not Peoria. But it doesn't need to be. That's the story we get to help tell, and I can't wait to see it come to life. Huge shoutout to Walter Harris, Madison Asher Woods, Laura Valentine, Kaity Hilton, Heather Rumsey, and John Rivers III for doing the deep discovery work and for helping to make this partnership possible. This is exactly the kind of work that reminds me why I love what I do. #MunicipalMarketing #CityBranding #Macomb
