Last night, we teamed up with the lovely Molly Ford of Flowers by Ford for another edition of her Toast Night series—an intimate evening bringing together inspiring women for great conversation and even better company. It was so special watching everyone put their own signature spin on J.McLaughlin classics like our Finn and Theodora shirts, and our new Viola Ballet Flats, styled for these perfect in-between days of late summer heading into fall. Our Mini Lex bags even made their way into the tablescape, nestled among Molly's beautiful florals for the evening. Thank you, Molly, for having us be part of an evening that could not have been more perfect. 🤍

The light is changing, and so are our wardrobes: our August Collection, Summer's Sunset, is here. Shot in Bellport, a coastal village on Long Island's South Shore, this collection captures the season of the in-between. Bellport isn't the kind of place that announces itself — two square miles, no summer traffic, a Main Street of art galleries and a small local theater, and a private beach reachable only by ferry. It's been a quiet retreat for the creative set since the 1970s, leaning into understated beauty for decades. That same instinct runs through Summer's Sunset: timeless, easy, and quietly preparing for what's next. With Bellport as the backdrop, it’s only fitting that this is the collection where we lean into and celebrate our icons — the silhouettes we've been known and loved for, for over nearly 50 years. Layers that earn their place in every closet, from our new Kerry Sweater to the Fisherman Sweater. Stripes and solids that carry the season forward, led by the Jamey sweater and our Theodora, two of our most enduring silhouettes. Core Denim, heritage staples built to live in. Print-forward dressing across the Hannah and Lois dresses, and our Delfina skirt — rich, warm patterns that carry our classic prints into fall. Not to mention our Clubhouse Capsule, featuring our Algiers Check and Mini Geo prints, icons made to move with you on the go. The August Collection is available now in J.McLaughlin stores across the country and online at jmclaughlin.com.

  • What a summer it's been with our 2026 intern class. Over the past two months, our interns dove headfirst into the J.McLaughlin world, learning the ins and outs of design, retail, marketing, and brand storytelling, all while bringing fresh energy and new perspectives to our team. From day one, their curiosity and hard work made a real impact. Thank you to this incredible group for everything you brought to J.McLaughlin this summer. We can't wait to see where your next chapter takes you — and we hope you'll always remember to Live Life Well!

  • Sun, stripes, and a little bit of magic on Nantucket! Earlier this month, we brought the Monogram Collection — our collaboration with Mark D Sikes — to life on an island we love. It started with an intimate lunch at Cru Nantucket, surrounded by friends of the brand, great food, and no shortage of Americana style. The celebration continued with a trunk show in the Rose Garden at our Nantucket store. A huge thank you to All My Friends Florals for the beautiful flowers, Meaghan Dunn for capturing the day perfectly, Tuck Shop for the delicious, custom chocolate bars and our friends at Steplane for the embroidery fun. We're also thrilled that the collection was recently featured in Frederic Magazine's "The Design Debuts Heating Up This Summer" — a huge thank you to Jill Kirchner Simpson, Emma Bazilian and the editorial team at Frederic Magazine for the feature. • The shore is calling — and our July Collection is ready. Shot along the coastline of Madison, CT, the latest chapter of our "Let the Sunshine In" summer campaign is designed to meet you exactly where you are: relaxed, refined, and ready for whatever the season brings. Red, white, and blue runs throughout—a nod to summer's most iconic holiday and a fitting tribute as we gear up to celebrate America's 250th Birthday. Whether you're watching fireworks from the lawn or toasting on a friend's dock, this collection dresses the moment beautifully. Here's what you'll find: Statement accessories that transform any look—bold jewelry, chic carryalls perfect for beach-hopping, textured sunhats, and playful scarves and belts that tie everything together with intention. The staples you'll reach for on repeat, from the Kate Top and the Lois Blouse to our iconic Freda Dress and Winnie Skirt—effortlessly moving from morning Mahjong to evening cocktail hour without missing a beat. Layers that feel light (cue our Lottie Cardigan) and wraps that add depth without weight. Well-styled stripes, anchored in a palette of navy and white, throughout each category. For him: the Suffolk Sport Coat is already flying off shelves, and the Mantle Piqué Polo is a warm-weather staple he won’t want to go another season without. Pack it, wear it, live in it. The July Collection is available now in J.McLaughlin stores across the country and online at jmclaughlin.com.

  • We're incredibly proud to continue sharing the story on everything that brought our Monogram Collection with Mark D Sikes to life. In our latest Substack post titled, "Distinctly American: Meet The Monogram Collection by Mark D. Sikes" we dive deep into how the collection came to life, the friendship between Mark D Sikes and our CEO, Greg Unis, plus an exclusive interview with the designer himself. https://lnkd.in/gGQvttw4

  • We're thrilled to have been included in Town & Country Magazine's latest style roundup, titled, The Weekly Covet: Festive Essentials for Fourth of July Weekend. The article includes our Betina Pants from The Monogram Collection, with editor Roxanne Adamiyatt saying “J. McLaughlin’s latest collab with Mark D. Sikes is a vision of nautical-preppy-chic. Paired with a mariner striped top and a pair of shield shades, everyone who sees me will be asking ‘who is she?’” Thank you to Roxanne Adamiyatt and the entire Town & Country Magazine team for including us in this piece just in time for the 4th! https://lnkd.in/gzTz65QM

  • A huge thank you to editors Melissa Smrekar, Sophia Porter and the entire team at PaperCity Magazine for the wonderful feature of our Monogram Collection with Mark D Sikes. The story, titled, 'Americana Summer Sets Sail with New Mark D. Sikes Collection for J.McLaughlin; The King of Blue and White Teams Up with the Iconic Preppy Powerhouse' captures the collection and its culmination beautifully. The editors note, "In another all-American move, Mark D. Sikes — the king of blue and white, master of the monogram, and curator of enviable boxwoods — has joined forces with über-American brand  J.McLaughlin on a collaboration that feels long overdue." https://lnkd.in/eNadVzFX
