Every PCT Days feels a little different — and somehow just as special. There’s something about being surrounded by people who are passionate about the outdoors and the gear that gets them there. This past weekend, we spent our time meeting people heading out on the trail, hearing their stories, and helping to repair their much-loved gear. From patching sleeping pads to tweaking stoves, our highly skilled repair team brought their expertise to every job, helping to extend the life of our customers’ gear and keep them on the trail. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello — and to our own team members who took the time to be part of it. We loved being there. The #RenoTahoeOdyssey may be over for this year, but we're still feeling inspired by the experience! This thoughtful gift from the organizers was a wonderful reminder of what makes this event so special. Since Reno is home for us, supporting events that bring our community together is especially meaningful. It’s always rewarding to see our products recognized by the industry, but it’s even more exciting when multiple brands in our family earn recognition! Last month, Men's Journal included several of our products in their 2026 Outdoor Awards, a testament to the innovation, expertise and dedication of the teams behind them. From Therm-a-Rest, both the NeoLoft Pad and Parsec Sleeping Bag were recognized for their innovative design and exceptional comfort in the outdoors. Our longstanding MSR WhisperLite Stove, Quick 2 Cookset and Dynalock Trekking Poles also made the list, earning recognition for their durability and thoughtful engineering. And breathe! Last week, members of our Sales, Marketing & Product teams headed to New Orleans for the Switchback Event, where we showcased our upcoming 2027 product launches and reconnected with retailers, international distributors, media, and key partners from across the outdoor industry. The show not only provided a platform to strengthen these hugely important relationships, but also offered an opportunity to gather valuable insights through Outdoor Industry Association sessions, reinforcing just how important Switchback is for our industry. Our booth was a hub of activity throughout the event, and it was exciting to see the enthusiasm from those who got an early look at what’s ahead from Cascade Designs. Last month, we were proud to support the #RenoTahoeOdyssey, an epic 178-mile relay race that brings together runners and outdoor enthusiasts from across the Reno-Tahoe region.
