On Dakota County's CSAH 32 Reconstruction project, we helped incorporate wildlife crossings, sometimes called "turtle tunnels," to provide a safer path for turtles and other animals while improving corridor safety for travelers. Great turnout in Cottage Grove for our Portable Traffic Signal Showcase! Engineers and partners got a firsthand look at portable signals running in a live work zone and left with new ideas to bring into future MOT plans, instead of defaulting to wooden poles and span wire every time.
