Businesses are greedy and lazy, they expect a community to provide perfectly trained employs while they enjoy tax free services to come to a specific community. Take a page out of the founder of Hershey the company and the town's book. Stop demanding a free ride, while governments and employees pay for the skills you need them to have.

You painted your kid as "the reason our vacation to Spain sucked, but it was actually your poor decision-making. You have to realize how much your relatives dislike you for completely ruining their vacation because you basically brought an infant with you on an adult trip.
Do you also bring your kid along to weddings that say No Children? You seem so entitled.

gwtwmom2 Millions of people have done the same thing millions of times since the start of the internet. I remember when eBay listings didn’t even have photos and hoards of items were bought and sold. Then digital cameras came along followed by cell phones to add photos to listings.

This is a story that’s been done and now is overdone. Nothing new here. FYI, business insider, people have been selling items when times get tough since the beginning of time.

They were never home. Also only saw the little grand kids of other son for 3 hrs during the month of August. So sold the hse, moved to livecare and no one needs to worry about Mom. I can support myself. Lifecare communities are great, have nice independent Living options, meet new friends, obtain best replacement doctors and have tons of young employees so do not feel old. Recommend you take control of your life before the Great Fall in your house which puts you in bed for the rest of your life.

In the US, federal welfare programs are disincentivizing people from leaving places with less opportunities to places with better opportunities. Just a few years ago, half of California workers came outside, and now book places like Texas and Florida. H1B just allows employers to import cheaper talent.

ops_analystea01f Yeah but prices rise immediately when there's even a threat of lower supply or whatever excuse they use to raise prices, so the threat of greater supply should decrease prices if everyone is being honest. Even a blip on the radar makes prices increase so it should work the opposite way as well. Unless the market and oil companies are lying to us when they increase prices.

wrk_achiever64cae I'm a Hoosier. My Dad was born in Vincennes but lived out in Bruceville. He joined the AF in the 50s & we moved quite a bit. He got a recruiting assignment in Terre Haute. I ended up going 6-12 grade there. My Mom was from Indianapolis. We were in between both places so able to grow up around relatives. We always camped & in Indiana there's plenty of places to go. Family friendly stuff nearby & close to other states that also have alot of family stuff to do. I have cousins in V. And they go to public schools. 1 graduated from VU. Others grad from IU. You'll be happy you chose there to raise your family!

ops_watcherdb084 Vincennes is one of the most interesting towns in the area. There is a catholic church from the 1700s , the old state Capitol, and the home of President William Henry Harrison ( Grouseland). There is a also a museum dedicated to comedian Red Skeleton.Just a few miles away in Illinois is a stone formation called " Garden of the Gods" and withen a 2 hour drive a pirate cave on the Ohio River. There is usually also a fur traders rendezvous yearly near the Clark National Memorial.
