Red Dead Redemption is an open-world action/adventure western game set along the border between the fictionalized US State New Austin and Mexico. Players take control of former outlaw John Marston as he attempts to track down members of his old gang and bring them all to justice.

The game features an open-world setup split across three different map areas. While objectives are often marked on these maps, there are also lots of things to discover. The game also has a completion tracker. In order to achieve 100% completion, certain conditions have to be met -- though it doesn't actually require the player to truly finish or collect everything.
