About Jordan Helm

Jordan is Hardcore Gamer's sole UK-based writer, having followed/covered the video game industry for nearly a decade now. Specializing in reviews, previews and editorial content covering a breadth of topics, his approach is often blunt, ocassionally witty but honest to the core. Having covered events such as E3, GDC and EGX both in-person and remotely - as well as traveling around the world to publishers big and small  - Jordan has accrued a sizeable amount of first-hand knowledge and experience when it comes to the nature of video game coverage. Proponent for creativity and enjoyment, opponent for all the other unecessary nonsense, his philosophy on gameplay trumping all, is what has inspired him to seek out the best and the underappreciated alike.
