Wait for me
As I tread the bumpy grounds
Wait for me
As I count my rounds
Wait for me
As I take deep breaths
Wait for me
As I gather the wreaths
Wait for me
As the coins jingle in my pocket
Wait for me
As I check my locket
Wait for me
As I pay the ferryman your due
Wait for me
As my heart speaks what's true
Wait for me
As I water the soil with my tears
Wait for me
As I recall the years
Wait for me
As I dig your sad pit
Wait for me
As I decide to sit
Wait for me
As I pray above your grave
Wait for me
As I accept there's one I save
Wait for me
As I wonder how I'll behave
Wait for me
As I depart with a final wish
Wait for me
As I gaze above where you're with the rich
I let my fingers slip the potion of sand
I took one whiff, and I entered dreamland
Curses I spoke none, not another breath
My body slumped in the arms of Death
No, at a plane that no one may reach
A vacuum, a potential at the beach
Deceived, do my ears hear no sound
Will my legs navigate me to wake up town
Time, I have much to spare
The anchor, tug and pull I must be aware
Fingers glide the strokes of the mist
Picture perfect painting you brought me bliss
My straight lips curve to a beam
Let me continue to dream

Stay Cautious or Stir Conscious
Might I wish for a favor tonight
Should I kneel to fulfill a request
Can I embrace your warm light
May I be the one to call you my quest
What pulls you to our Earth
What does your stay entail
Should I be on alert
Will you take my pail
Do I ask for more time
Should I write a cautionary letter
Will my tale be sublime
Must I tell myself nothing gets better
Give me a sign that I can read
A way for me to make out from a distance
Big and bold even for the feeble mind to heed
All I need is your glance
What once was there
Became a place of none
What once holds dear
Must have been fun
Your stories sunk and drown
Forgotten and old
Yet worthy of a royal crown
It must continue to be told
A home so small
Enough to dress in earth
A twitching ear perked to the call
For there is some worth
The stories lost in the flood
Found the one who has hurled
A sign that taught the green bud
To be open to the world
My body is too numb to leave the cold ground
I can't bother to call around
The valley I rest on is much too vast
And I look too small to be noticed in the mass
I am one
Yet I am none
Do I ask for help?
Can I yelp?
How should I make the first move?
How do I prove?
I am right there
Yet none know I am here
I left a clue in the fog
For I am no log
I breathe the same as life for years
For I made sure to save my tears
I don't wish to shrivel on instant
I cannot create floods as does an infant
They spark energy, but weigh a pail of rain
I have been called a rock, but underneath it's all pain
I wait more to calm my stormy heart
For I am too afraid to split myself apart
I ask this to avoid having to say goodbye
Where am I
Listen what's that from afar?
Could this be the sound of a roar?
But why does the ground shake?
Is it this an earthquake?
What is that at the top?
Should I go over and hop?
Mister drummer is that you?
Am I ruining your cue?
Will you let me stay to see you play?
Will you play again for another day?
Why does my heart pound?
Why does my voice have a muffled sound?
Am I seeing rain?
Am I feeling pain?
Why do you hurt me so?
Why did you left me in the cold?
Did you know how long I wait?
Did you know how many times I check the date?
Do you know how I feel?
How do I know you are real?
Will you play louder for me?
Will I have to plea?
Can you give me a call?
I want to hear your all
Mother brings her daughter a gift
"A present for my sweet love"
The little girl looks with curiosity
"What is it?"
Mother gave her a smile
"Open it"
And so the little girl did
"Is this really for me?"
Mother's smile grew wider
"Do you like her?"
The little girl gives the doll a hug
"I love her. She looks like my sister"
Mother kisses her cheek
"Take good care of her"
The little girl stares at her in the eyes
"I promise to never let her leave my side"
Mother looks at her with adoration
"Make your mother proud"
The little girl always has the doll by her side
She carries her wherever she goes
Mother is always watching her
She loves the little girl for keeping her word
The little girl never lets the doll go
She is always with her even when she sleeps
Mother is always there in her dreams
She leaves when morning light shows
The little girl went to venture out
She carries the doll on her back
Mother is gone and she needs to find her
She leaves when she hears a
