Josh Bradley shared thisHow lucrative are stolen streaming accounts for cybercriminals? Cyril Noel-Tagoe gives his lowdown on the topic. Plenty more data to come on this in the next few weeks. 🤖💵Josh Bradley shared thisStreaming accounts are an easy and lucrative target for cybercriminals. How much they charge for stolen accounts on the grey market depends on a few factors. Firstly, just like the actual streaming services themselves, criminals are likely to charge a premium for accounts offering extras like HD or 4K streaming, the ability to download content locally, etc. Secondly, many stolen accounts are listed with a warranty. While these accounts might cost slightly more, the seller will "guarantee" that, if for any reason the account you bought becomes unavailable (in other words, the account's owner or the service itself notices it's stolen and locks you out), they will replace it without another account within a defined time frame. You might rightly be sceptical of warranties from criminals, but many sellers have built up solid reputations within these marketplaces. What's more, many listings advertise an unlimited amount of accounts for specific services. This is an indication of how confident criminals are in their ability to take over streaming accounts. Watch this space for more insights in an upcoming report from Netacea! #streaming #cybersecurity #accounttakeover

Once again, Netacea underwent a third-party audit with an accredited external firm to evaluate our infrastructure, software, processes, and policies for managing customer data based on four trust service principles: Security, availability, confidentiality and privacy. This shows our strong commitment to keeping customer data safe and secure as we protect some of the world's biggest brands from bot attacks. From top to bottom, everyone at Netacea works hard to protect your sensitive information as we fight to protect against online threats. Josh Bradley shared thisFully back into the swing of things after a life changing few weeks out of the office: Got married ✅ Precious time with family and friends ✅ Batteries recharged ✅ Our wedding was the longest spell that Steph and I had switched off from work in a very long time. Although organising and managing a wedding keeps you super busy (kudos to Steph), time with family and friends, away from Zoom, Outlook and Slack was a welcome tonic, and has put a massive spring in our step as we head into the second half of the year. Now looking forward to busy six months, both personally and with Netacea. P.S: Getting married was lots of fun. Would 100% recommend 😊 ❤️

Josh Bradley liked thisJosh Bradley liked thisI'm thrilled to share that I've joined Foldspace AI to lead marketing. Foldspace is building the agentic interface for AI-native software. The shift from users learning the software, to the software learning the user is exactly the kind of story I want to help tell. Remember the last software you trialed and the time and clicks it took to achieve even the simplest outcome (think Time to Value)? - At the beginning there's a user's intent. - At the end is the desired outcome. - And in between, is a million steps that you have to learn We remove all of those extra steps in the middle. Improving adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and retention. Foldspace is the agentic interface that sits on-top of your product, and it can be setup in one sprint. Josh Bradley liked thisJosh Bradley liked thisI just wrote to my MP about equal parental leave. I'm also a hypocrite. Here's why we need a much more honest conversation about this as business owners. I started a company in 2016, VC backed. I've always advocated for equality in the workforce - parental policy 'standards' come up constantly in private WhatsApp groups of founders, and my take is always the same: make parental leave equal, and don't assume anything on behalf of the mum (if there's a mum). I practised what I preached at home. On our first parental leave, my partner and I split everything 50/50 (time off, feeding, night duty, nappy duty, etc etc). And yet, when I was running my company, my HR policy didn't match my values. We have 2 weeks for paternity at full pay - not much. Here's the uncomfortable truth: when you're starting a company, often you're optimising for survival while you figure things out. You can't win every battle - even the ones that link to your personal ideology. Often, a small, loss-making business in an unpredictable stage can't fund extended leave on top of covering the role, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. That's exactly why this shouldn't sit on the shoulders of individual employers. Today the government funds dads for just two weeks at ~£190/week - anything better comes out of the employer's pocket, which means equal leave is currently a perk of working for a larger, more stable company. This is one of those places where free markets fail society. Fund six weeks at 90% properly - as the government's own leave review is considering right now - and the smallest startup can become a fairer place to work. Why do I care? Something I only fully appreciated after becoming a parent - here's how the default parent gets made: * Pre-baby, I got all the questions. My partner, nada. Last time I checked I wasn't the only parent?! Society had already decided I was the default. * Post-baby, I was fortunate - we genuinely split it 50/50. But even then, I noticed: if I started a task, it quietly became mine. Handing it over was where things could slide. And that's with a partner who was there, available, wanting to share it. * Now imagine the standard setup: mum home alone for months, building every routine, holding every detail, while dad's back at work. Of course the mental load ends up on women. It's not a gender trait - it's a compounding of a thousand small defaults. And the very first default is who takes the leave. Will six weeks of properly paid paternity leave fix all of this? No. But it's the first domino - the one default that sets all the others. We could go much further :) Took me two minutes to write to my MP: https://lnkd.in/eYKRmau5. Thanks The Dad Shift. Andy Burnham - the evidence for this came out of Manchester (University of Manchester's five-year study on fathers who took solo leave: https://lnkd.in/ejZaXK8g)

Josh Bradley liked thisJosh Bradley liked thisEnd of month means sometimes you just have to lean against a pillar outside the pub. I've never bought the "don't be close with your team" management advice. There are obviously boundaries, and I know I've been guilty in the past of being too private - also one of the reasons I'm trying to post on here more. But with my 'actual' mates, if I couldn't be direct, take the micky-taking, have a laugh, and be there for the hard stuff as well as the good, they wouldn't be my mates. Colleagues should be similar, and that also means no lone wolves. Every one of them would lean against a suspicious-smelling pillar for each other, and has done. I've had to let people go that I'd still call for a beer. Proud of that. No big lesson here. Just we're all human, and you get more out of people when you actually look out for each other. End of month lands again on Monday, which always brings a bit more pressure across every function, sales, legal, product, all of it, but that's when digging in together counts most. (Also considering this as my new headshot, to replace my 2021 one.)

Josh Bradley liked thisJosh Bradley liked thisInfluencer/content creation is booming. To put it lightly. We're watching the new era of marketing unfold in real-time, shaped by those pioneering what it will look like over the next 5 years. For years we've thrown around 'thought leader' like confetti at a wedding, but are we all paying attention to those doing it really well, & what they're actually doing to achieve their success? Last week Sergi Cerrato wrote for Forbes on the new role of influencer marketing, and it got me thinking ✏️ Sergi's super interesting piece 👇 https://lnkd.in/ePX8KcKH
