Last week, we brought a group of senior retail leaders together in New York with
Google Cloud to talk about agentic commerce.
The signal from the room was clear: this is moving from an interesting idea to an operating priority. Commerce is shifting from people clicking through websites and systems to agents helping discover, decide, and eventually transact on their behalf. What will make those experiences truly valuable is context.
Can an agent understand your products beyond a basic catalog? Does it have the right customer context to make a relevant recommendation? Can it understand your inventory, business rules, preferences, and behavioral signals? And can all of that intelligence be created and governed within your enterprise environment?
That is the opportunity we see at
Syntasa, connecting the power of AI with the enterprise data and context needed to make agentic experiences genuinely useful, relevant, and trusted.
What made me proudest last week wasn’t presenting our point of view. It was watching the room lean in and start asking questions before we had even opened the floor.
Thank you to
Aaiz Khan and John B. for making the technology tangible, James Wilson for being in the trenches with us, and our partners at
Google Cloud, especially
Kapil Dabi for sharing his perspective with the room and
Diana Nguyen for the continued partnership and support.
Kapil, Diana and the Google Cloud team, we’d love your help continuing to amplify this conversation as retailers start thinking about what agentic commerce means for their businesses.
This was our first in NYC. It won’t be our last.
