We’ve currently got 3 players to fill 2 important positions. Bogle has been reliable injury wise, Guddy hasn’t been and Justin has at Leeds but throughout his career less so. Plus Justin may have to cover CB as well. It’s failure from the club if a LB doesn’t come in.
Really excited to see how Matias Fernandez-Pardo gets on at Newcastle and in the Premier League. I think he’s suited to how transitional the league has become and think he will be a hit.
Serious inquest needed after this window in terms of the selling department at this club. Every other team has no issues getting good fees for players particularly this summer yet we’ve struggled yet again. No way with a few days remaining should you be loaning Gnonto out.
Today’s game and the cup game just show how much of a difference Dan James as profile makes. Important to empathise “profile” because his quality isn’t there. Get someone who can run in behind and attack the space between CBs and FBs but has quality and we’d be so much better.
