⚠️ Threat Alert: Axios NPM Supply Chain Compromise (UNC1069) On March 31, 2026, state-sponsored actor UNC1069 (North Korea-nexus) weaponized Axios, a JavaScript library with over 100 million weekly downloads, embedding a Remote Access Trojan via two malicious package versions. The attack window lasted just 3 hours, but the impact was severe. From npm install to full system compromise in just 15 seconds, with SSH keys, cloud credentials, and Kubernetes tokens all at risk. If your organization ran npm install between 00:21–03:20 UTC on March 31, your environment must be treated as fully compromised.
